"To bring a gun into a church and try to rob a church within itself is unreasonable it's beyond any sense what so ever," said Caldwell.

Yeah, because when I think of "Reasonable" I always think of church.....

"I'm afraid I can't tell you anything about that customer's secret, illegal account.

Oh crap... I shouldn't have said he was a customer.

Oh crap... I shouldn't have said it was a secret!

Oh crap... I DEFINITELY shouldn't have said it was illegal!"

This is why you always have them make it out to "Cash".

/not sure if it would work anyway
//didn't read TF article

"I would've got away with it too, if it hadn't've been for them pesky God and Jesus fellas"

"My best friends call me Cash."

......Like the biblical story of judas betraying jesus --.......

http://www.wdaftv4.com/fullstory.asp?id=6339

These are proper nouns and their names should be capitalized.

And at least 1/3 of that check had originally been owned by a sweet white haired old lady who only took it out on Sundays for a spin.

Like the biblical story of judas betraying jesus --Caldwell says the men betrayed his trust.

He's Jesus?

A check for 20 pieces of silver!

There is some irony in robbing a church.

2004-11-12 07:41:56 PM

Sneaky preist... Oh wait he already knew them anyway

The Eternal Life Church has always lend a helping hand but two former church members wanted more from pastor Tony Caldwell

Shouldn't he forgive them?
Doesn't god already know what they are doing?

Is anyone else bothered by anyone who compares himself to Jesus? I mean, I always thought that was blasphemy; thought that you weren't just supposed to up and say "Like Judas and the betrayal of Jesus, they betrayed my trust."

2004-11-12 07:49:05 PM
Hey, wait a minute. How were they planning to cash the check? Was the pastor going to keep the robbery a secret from his bank, so they could cash it without being questioned?

Pay to the Order Of: Two asshats threatening to shoot my flock.

There's a gentile joke in there somewhere.

I know we've seen a lot of bad grammar complaints lately, but this one has got to take the cake. Worst. Article. Ever.

tom servo bit me

I'm sooooo glad I'm not the only one who noticed the glaring punctuation and grammatical errors in this crock of monkey snot. It's not just those, either -- the author is obviously trying to be a good writer and it's just not working out.

I wish some filthy Protestants would try that with me! I'd bite their legs off and give them rabies.

Yeah. Wait until he finds out that religion is a farce.

Interestingly, the idea of making a check out to cash is less and less widely known lately. Smart pastor, for comin up with some way to positively ID at least one of the crooks. Dumb thieves, for not thinking things through.

I don't get why Christians are so hard on Judas. If he didn't betray Jesus, then Jesus wouldn't have died, thus no one would've died for your sins, thus you'd be going to Hell with the rest of us. I say we should have a Judas day celebration...so I could get another day off.

I don't read any articles from Faux News.

Also, I have triple thumbs-downed all of their programs on my TIVO. Along with that blasted religious channel.

Church = Members not building or organization.

Judge - You are charged with 240 counts of armed robbery. How do you plead?
Defendant - Holy Shait!!

Something like that could go for non-profits also. Pass down a couple of life sentences per state and watch some crime rates go down. Course it would have to also apply to embezelment, then the non-profits and churches could at least be trusted to get donated money where it was meant to go.

/Pretty sure that by posting this I've ruined any chances of a political life.
