Heh heh, good man.
I bet those who got halloween trick or treat goodies from him are now puking.

Not long before the first lawsuit. Look for the kids with the sparkling eyes and shint coat.

Oh, come on! You remember back when you were a kid, and ate food out of the dog dish, or the "Tootsie Rolls" out of the cat box...right? neither.

We used to give classmates Feen-A-Mint. It looks like Chiclets but it's a laxative.

We would crack up.
2002-02-21 09:38:28 AM
I used to give little kids on the morning bus Ex-Lax. It guaranteed a shiaty day for them.

I wonder if they got the urge to take a dump in the sandbox afterward
2002-02-21 09:53:14 AM
Oh, c'mon. They're all acting like they never ate cat food before. When you're a kid and no one is awake yet to feed you, that shiat is good stuff!
2002-02-21 09:54:02 AM
Did the guy do this on purpose? That's just insane although I don't know why the school is so worried. I will be the brave person to honestly admit that as a child my friends and I would dare eachother to eat the dog's food. We all survived and without even a case of light diarrhea.
2002-02-21 10:16:25 AM
Kids were dumb enough to eat it?

"Gee, this doesn't smell like candy..."
2002-02-21 10:16:31 AM
Even if the teacher's aide gets fired, not to worry. He clearly has a bright future ahead of him at PETA (Department of Zany Publicity Stunts).
2002-02-21 10:36:30 AM
Why the big concern? Isn't the schools lunch basically the same?
2002-02-21 10:47:40 AM
This happened in Kentucky. For God's sake, the man should not get in trouble. That's better eatin' than those kids get at home down there in the bowels of the universe.
2002-02-21 10:48:21 AM
See, it used to be the parents' responsibility to keep kids from eating cat food. Now they expect the schools to take care of it.
2002-02-21 10:53:34 AM
Crazy_Girl: Apparently it was intentional, but joking.

This is not worth a suspension. It's a typical American soccer mom over reaction. The suburban moms and their bubble-boy children are disgusted by the thought of eating something that is nominally cat food, because most cat food smells 'nasty'.

Cat treats are probably more nutritious than the kid's lunches. I'd sure rather feed a kid cat treats than feed a cat kid treats.

Back to my morning Pop-Tart(TM)...
2002-02-21 11:09:19 AM
What's the big deal? Some people eat dog biscuits. It was a harmless prank.

What surprises me is not that the guy did it but that the kids were stupid enough to eat the stuff. I mean I'm sure cat food doesn't taste or feel anything like candy.
2002-02-21 11:31:25 AM
Did it promote any cat fights?
Mrrowwrrr, CAT FIGHT !
2002-02-21 11:39:59 AM
My friend once accidently ate some Sheba catfood.
The reason was very good, somebody had left it out on the counter intending to feed their cat, but forgot about it.

He later microwaved it thinking it had just gone cold...
When his girlfriend got home she told him the real story.

He still tells me he'd do it again in a second though.
2002-02-21 11:54:03 AM
mmm...sheba. that stuff looks so good.

Somebody's begging for a school shooting...
2002-02-21 12:13:47 PM
Ya think maybe the idea came from this guy's grandmother who gave this out last Halloween to the trick-or-treaters?
2002-02-21 12:21:37 PM
Man, I think this teacher should be commended for teaching the kids the truth about love. It stinks and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

But I'm not bitter.
2002-02-21 12:27:27 PM
first of all, why would cat food be toxic? and if it is, why are we feeding toxic food to our pets!
2002-02-21 12:31:49 PM
Were the kids more friskey afterwards? And did it solve their hair ball problems? Shiney coats?
2002-02-21 02:15:34 PM
Perhaps the DUMBASS tag would've been appropriate here....
2002-02-21 04:48:24 PM
