Sorry too personal.

"I saw a round, bright-green, light hovering over Port Meadow some 800 yards away and about 400 yards high," he recalled.

And we all know what accurate judges of height and distance the average person is when they have absolutely no frame of reference whatsoever.

A hoax it might have been, but it was a highly organized, sophisticated and above all an expensive effort on the part of those involved.

It was after drinking twelve beers, being taken to a fire tower by a female roofer, eating a quaalude, getting laid, falling down three flights of metal steps, falling out of my pickup and being caught by the seat belt and dragged 500 yards, then getting in a fight with rednecks and having my head pounded in that I took the LSD and saw the alien vessel, floating .087776 feet below the surface of the ground. It had Budweiser clearly written on it in Urdu.

I was abducted once, near the TNT region of Point Pleasant, WV made famous by the mothman.

While the whole experience was blurred, I do remember that
there was almost no conversation. And when they did talk, it was about what they were watching, usually 'My Three Sons.'

Being a dentistry student, I of course have a scientific mind. I would enquire about different things such as medical techniques, means of propulsion, social organizations. But nothing. They'd just go, "Shh. Ernie's having girl trouble."

I seem to remember someone hijacking a signal belonging to HBO sometime in the mid-1980s. Anyone remember that?

KMFDM - "Power"

UNDER A STONE
SKIN & BONE
THE CHILDREN OF FEAR ARE NOT ALONE

RIVERS OF TEARS
FLESH & BLOOD
AN EYE FOR AN EYE
THAT'S ALL WE'VE GOT

POWER & TRUTH
DESIRE & TRUST
LIKE THE WIND AND THE RAIN
ASHES AND DUST

TIME WILL BE ENDING
LIFE'S A CRUSADE
FOR A CONSCIOUSNESS RISING
OUT OF DESPERATE STATE

INTO LIGHT AND THE FUTURE
EDUCATION IS WORK
INTO VIOLENT PEACE
THAT WILL CONQUER THE WORLD

WE GOT THE POWER
EXCESSIVE FORCE
INDUSTRIAL SOUNDTRRACK TO THE HOLY WARS

No, it's "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance"

2004-11-08 01:38:06 PM
They Hijacked the HBO signal in Bloom County too.

Anyone?

/obscure?

2004-11-08 01:43:10 PM
Nobody has ever attempted to take over a studio-to-transmitter (STL) microwave/satellite link for the purpose of mischief.

I repeat, nobody.

And Midnight was stupid. There were only a few earth stations capable of producing the amount of power to double illuminate the bird and override HBO's uplink. Ultimately, it was his use of a somwhat unique local character egenrator that did him in.
