huchipapa - my point is that educated people are generally not narrow-minded enough to vote for Bush. Because you can name a few people with PhD's that are voting for Bush says nothing. I'd be intereste to hear what those degrees are in thgough.

2004-11-02 11:09:14 PM
I wonder if they'll be more threads on this. Because, if not, I wonder if it will be the longest thread EVAR.

2004-11-02 11:09:48 PM

2004-11-02 11:09:54 PM
WalkingCarpet, DeMint is a repub? I was talking about Burr here in NC that's filling Edwards seat. That means a republican majority in the Senate.... that's sweet. : )

Heheh...

They always said the South will rise again. This is their revenge, 4 more years of that drooling retard.

2004-11-02 11:10:28 PM
lol... all the liberals keeps saying "hold on... the westcoast results aren't in yet... wait for California... It's going Kerry, you just wait"... We know, we don't waste our time on the 3 westcoast states, they are liberal bastions and givens for the dems... The fact is all Kerry supporters admit he had to win Ohio or he loses, while Bush could win under different scenarios... Well it appears that Bush will take FL and OH very easily...

I wouldnt call Cali "liberal bastions". Only the Bay area and LA... Every other county is RED!

2004-11-02 11:10:30 PM
NH is won by kerry, we all know it

The predictions from electoralvote.com are pretty much the same as the election, except it predicted a minor victory for democrats in florida....this entire election will hinge on florida again

2004-11-02 11:10:48 PM
I have a question. Why use this electorial vote ?

Why not just you the popular vote, which seems a bit more fair and accurate ?

2004-11-02 11:10:57 PM
I wish to retract any suggestion that Gretta Van Sustren is hot. The light was wrong.

2004-11-02 11:10:59 PM
Can you imagine the massive street protests after Bush steals this one too? Man, won't be pretty at all. Yikes!

2004-11-02 11:11:03 PM

According to MS-NBC:

Bush = 207
Kerry = 199

Of course, their map's not up to date, yet...

Assuming someone set her on fire.

2004-11-02 11:12:14 PM
CBC had it at 210 Bush - 199 - Kerry. Perplexing.

2004-11-02 11:12:18 PM
I have to say it...

GW Bush would have no chance in this election without the catastrophe of 9/11. Had it been prevented...had he spent less time on vacation pre 9/11...he would be toast in this election

I can't see how anyone could dispute this, and I can't see how it doesn't sicken anyone here. The man ran a fear campaign. "We are safer because of me. We are all going to die." God. Dammit. What is wrong with people...

2004-11-02 11:12:18 PM
florida has 90% in with Bush at 52 an kerry at 47%

OLDBUTFAST:

You claimed to be black when accused of being racist. You are pathetic. I thought you left Fark for good. BTW: I know from experience that a JD does not take an intellect to obtain, but given your previous lies, I'd question that statement as well.

SOMEONE TELL ME WHY KERRY CAN STILL WIN OHIO. PLEASE! IS THERE ANY HOPE LEFT?

2004-11-02 11:13:01 PM
It's my understanding (and correct me if I'm wrong) Bush ordered the invasion on Iraq either on misinformation, or a lie. Either way, it doesn't matter, because it's done. Once they got in there, and it was proven that there wasn't sufficient information....

It was proven like 2 weeks ago, there was sufficient reason with his WMD. read the news.

When Saddam invaded his SECOND neighbor ( Kuwait )
and the US with allies forced him out. His generals
signed a CEASE FIRE. That Cease Fire had TERMS associated
with it. One of the terms was to VERIFYABLY destroy
offensive weapons. When that was not done ~ ~ 14 UN
Resolutions later ~ ~ the United States was the only
force in the World that wanted to Enforce the UN's
VERY OWN RESOLUTIONS ( and it would be later found out
that virtually all of the countries opposed to the
RESUMPTION OF HISTILITIES where the countries that either
had a financial stake in NOT resuming hostilities or
were 'on the take' with Saddam with the OIL for FOOD
program - later changed into the "OIL for new Palaces
and screw my starving people" program. ) The President
went to the UN and told them that they risk rendering
themselves IRRELEVANT if they do not enforce the
resolutoins that they pass ...

( kinda like DEMOCRAT Charlie Rangle putting a bill to
Re-Enstate the DRAFT - while charging the Republicans
with wanting to bring back the Draft and the
Republicans calling his bluff and Rangele having to
vote against his own legislation in shame )

and after that, the job was finished. ALL THE WHILE
giving Saddam ample time to burry WMD's or send them
to SYRIA for safe keeping. //When the weatherman predicts
RAIN from the available data that he has at hand. and
the conditions change or the data is later seen to be
faulty ... // it is not up to the President to PROOVE
that Saddam had WMD's. It was Saddam's burden to
PROOVE that he had verifyably destroyed his offensive
weapons ( and ) weapons programs.

How much does one candidate have to win by to not have the other side say the election was stolen?

/curious

I understand that it's a benefit to the people of Iraq. Granted. But does it not bother the Bush supporters that Americans died based on what in retrospect was a series of pretty lame facts? Isn't it just a fringe benefit that Hussein happened to be a butthead?

What if Germany had not been involved in WWII? What if Hitler had just been content to become ruler of Germany and that's all? Now, say he still decided to wipe out every last Jew, Homosexual, gypsi etc. Would it have bothered you if the reason we went in and took him out was because we were told he had nuclear weapons when he didn't?

All the Bushies need to start lining up to feed their children into the war machine.

2004-11-02 11:13:13 PM
88% reporting in Florida and Bush is STILL up 250,000 votes.

2004-11-02 11:13:24 PM
I'm in Ohio and I voted for Kerry.

I wonder how many Canadian sites are going to be totally farked by people looking to expatriate if Bush wins?

I wonder why people would vote for Bush when he's brought nothing but death, destruction and poverty to the WORLD, let alone America. I wonder why people scorn a chance for intelligent, thoughful leadership and vote for rhetoric and slogans.

I feel tears welling up from my gut but before they reach my eyes, they are squelched by plain fear and anger. I fear another four years under Bush, especially if they will be anything like the last four years. I am angry because we had a chance to show the world that we do not support a tyrant.

It is a global test and if Bush is re-elected we will have failed miserably.

Right now, I hate George Bush and I hate the people who voted for him. I am ashamed of it, but it is true.

2004-11-02 11:13:29 PM
with only the rural counties in Ohio the only ones reporting at more than 50%, it is really hard to say that Kerry lost it.

2004-11-02 11:13:32 PM
Is it possible to know the postcount of a thread that has hit infinity without counting each individual post?

I dont have 2 hours to blow.

as a california resident and a right wing supporter of stem cell research, i will never ever vote for a bond measure. because as someone who will have to pay it back in a few years, it will end up screwing me over.

/ever!

2004-11-02 11:13:47 PM
It's like watching a horror movie. I literally get chills when I see Bush and hear just how many are voting for him. It feels very surreal. I am completely astounded at the wide spread ignorance in our country. What is going on?!

2004-11-02 11:13:54 PM
The amount that Bush is ahead in Ohio could be made up by Cuyahoga county alone. With 41% reporting in Cuyahoga Kerry has a 73,000 vote advantage there. Then there are the other blue counties that have less than half or even fewer reporting. It's looking more and more like Ohio will come down to the wire.

2004-11-02 11:13:55 PM
Little RonnieReagan is speechless tonight. LOL. He was one of the 'Kerry landsliders'.
Farkin' cloistered elitist lib-baby.

It gives some protection to minority populations so a couple of states couldn't end up choosing the President every year.

True Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner and all that.

Don't worry Elvis Nixon it's not over yet.. we can still get Kerry and go back to being the UN's puppet thugs..

Omega, so your arguement is that because we're safer than the cold war, we're safe? Alaska is also warmer than Antarctica, but I don't want to sunbathe there.

Bush keeps poking sleeping dogs in various countries, and i'm sure you'll be in here screaming for a glass parking lot when they bite back.
