CSpan's map, when the uncalled states which have results posted are taken into consideration, has the Electoral Vote as:

Bush 239
Kerry 99

Oddly, Cspan has 'called' Maryland for Kerry, yet their own numbers show Bush leading by 5%.. weird

2004-11-02 09:04:57 PM

I'm hopin so too, I can see it if Kerry wins this one, Hillary vs Rudy, I see that one kinda in the way I look at Alien Vs Preditor.

Gonna be a good fight and worth watching no matter who wins, but I know who my vote would go for.

Why was my post deleted?

I inlined the image http://www.supermasterpiece.com/features/stephen/election01.gif
to show the pre-results status and got many comments on this. (just search for HairBolus or Poland in this thread) and I got no angry responses.

So why did some mod decide to delete my post. I wish the mods were required to send an email explaining the reson for deleting a post.

On the bright side for Floridians. I watched the trends during the Gubernatorial race. Jeb manipulated the Division of Elections in his back pocket. He deliberately released favorable numbers during the Governor race in '02.

Once the votes were all tallied, Bush's win fell significantly.

Won't happen! Bush is winning ohio and Florida! It's over LMFAO! Bush won!

2004-11-02 09:09:28 PM
Have the major urban areas in Florida been counted? Have Colorado residents voted to split electoral votes? What is happening in Hawaii, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan? It could still go either way. Damn this is exciting.

Baltimore County is looking Bushish, but the City hasn't reported yet. Baltimore City's going to be deep blue by the end of the night.

Ah, good call.

I just about hope so, though as a conservative I wouldn't vote for Nader.

Maybe in '08 more people will vote third party...if Dubya isn't dictator by then....

As someone who lives in MI and not a fan of OH, they have ALWAYS been a factor.

/F OHIO!!!!!
/BUSH

2004-11-02 09:10:08 PM
me:... Bush should be more conservative. Except I didn't want to send the message that Iraq was a bad idea.

SherKhan: Don't take this wrong but that sounds...nuanced.

Don't take my quote out of context. Badnarik is a great conservative/libertarian in every other way, ideal for my vote because I'm in Alabama and can send a message to Bush that he's not conservative enough, but Badnarik wants to pull out of Iraq. So who do I vote for?

2004-11-02 09:10:23 PM
Ohio must have screwed up tallies. ALl of Cobbs votes disappeared and Bush's lead just jumped.

2004-11-02 09:10:31 PM

No split votes in Colorado...

2004-11-02 09:11:03 PM

This is very odd:

For Florida, CNN is reporting:
Bush: 1,822,029 (56%)
Kerry: 1,415,004 (43%)
with 41% precincts reporting.

But Florida's Department of Elections is reporting:
Bush: 1,737,535 (52.3%)
Kerry: 1,552,498 (46.8%)
With 41.2% reporting

In other words, CNN is reporting more Bush votes and fewer Kerry votes than Florida itself is. My question is: Where does CNN get it's numbers???

As a Bush voter and NOT a fan, I'm am licking my chops waiting for a McCain & RUDY!!!! Ticket in 2008!!!!!!

Honestly, I'm I am SO waiting for either one of them to run.

I wrote in McCain in 2000 and again this year. I'm not so sure about Rudy, but if McCain is on the ticket in 2008, he could have pretty much anyone as VP and it would be worth it.

/Worked for McCain twice

2004-11-02 09:12:11 PM
And Peroutka has more votes than Bush so far in LA!?

w00t!!!!!!!

2004-11-02 09:12:19 PM
Whoa. Kerry just jumped 5 points in Florida and they haven't counted Miami-Dade yet.
