Mr. Bigglesworth is the father?
2002-02-19 10:28:30 AM
The obvious answer is to send out a flock of them killer sheep. They'll hunt down the offending cow and rip it to shreds faster than you can say 'baby grouse'.

Check the mayors freezer!! I bet he is eating fresh steaks!!

People there want to adopt the escaped cow? And here I thought that Cincinnati was a Pig town.
2002-02-19 10:41:01 AM
Oprah, really, I know you're ratings are sliding, but a publicity stunt like this can only hurt them more.
2002-02-19 10:41:48 AM
adopt-a-meal? How would that work? Can I adopt a few filets?

2002-02-19 10:47:14 AM
Run, cow, run!!!!
2002-02-19 10:48:23 AM
I would have liked to have seen the live TV helicopter footage of the heard of chefs from local steak houses in hot pursuit, sorta like the OJ on the loose video... oh, back to boobies, opps, I mean work.
2002-02-19 10:49:17 AM
I like my food with a little bit of spirit. Just don't make yourself too stringy, cow! I prefer a nice marbled ribeye.
2002-02-19 10:51:06 AM
Ouroborus brings up a good point, don't let that cow run too far. The meat will get tough.
2002-02-19 10:51:40 AM
Police are really on the ball there

If only it said:

Nobody has made a steak-out joke yet?
2002-02-19 10:55:54 AM
I am pretty sure PETA and the SPCA are having a field day with this. Bastards. I say if the cow is caught, sell him to the highest bidder and let them give the cow a home on the range. Send him to Montana. Plenty of still open land up there. I have seen buffalo and moose walking thru towns in northern Montana. Cows are everywhere there, too. Lots of them get hit by semis, in herds, and the Indians butcher the cows up. Great fun and hilarity usually ensues...

If that were a black cow, the Cincinnati police would have found it(or one that looks like it), tenderized it and ate it 4 days ago.

Osama bin cow?
2002-02-19 11:04:53 AM

I hearby offer to adopt this beast. I have access to a nice home for him heated with propane, built in rotisserie, sauce warmer.
Any offers to bring the potato salad, chips, beans and beer?

Martin - who has venison roast cooking in oven for dinner.

Go, Cow, Go! Make for the border with Canada!
No, wait, that won't help...

Oh well.
2002-02-19 11:16:13 AM
If this cow can make it to California, it has a fighting chance of surviving.
2002-02-19 11:16:16 AM
This is a symptom of the bias inherent in the system. Had this been a pig, would it have made the news, NO I say..... Stop the repression of the bovines!
2002-02-19 11:20:58 AM
How long before this becomes a made for TV movie?
2002-02-19 11:24:21 AM
Police and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will spend another day hunting for a heifer.

Why the hell would "The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" want to have anything to do with sending a self emancipated cow back to its death? They should be working to get the cow to saftey before the police get to it; getting a fake passport, tickets to India, etc.

BTW- Ich liebe Tiere, also esse ich sie nicht

a cow loose in Cincinnati? That's not news.

Midgettossa - Goetta! Yeah! They don't serve that crap anywhere else.

"Friday morning, a 1,000 pound cow jumped a 6' fence and high-tailed out of Ken Meyer Meats in Camp"

whoa this cow can jump!
2002-02-19 12:10:15 PM
Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle the cow jumped over a 6' foot fence. They setup a decoy cow and there're still waiting now and the dish ran away with the spoon.
2002-02-19 12:21:57 PM
If it is a black cow the Cincinnati cops will shoot it and claim it was reaching for its weapon/udders
2002-02-19 12:23:17 PM
Not as funny as the time a WKRP chopper dropped live turkeys over the city.....then discovered turkeys could'nt fly all that well.........wait....that was fiction
