Damn, that was an easy submission staring me right in the face this morning.
Too preoccupied with other things.
But a great link none the less.

Numbers 4, 6 and 7 are the best.

Number 11 is cool but you can get all kinds of shots like that in hockey games.

short track speedskating is such a funny sport.
I expect LL Cool J to be in a movie about it soon.

I'm surprised they didn't have any of the falls from last night's figure skating. That was a lot of freaking falling.

2002-02-19 03:08:08 PM
This is supposed to be funny? As a former ice skater I find these hilarious

Now if the ice skater fell while simply skating out to START their program, that would be funny, or if a skiier fell coming off a ski lift, that would be funny....but plain old falling during Olympic caliber routines? Not so funny.....

2002-02-19 03:10:21 PM
I didn't think those pictures were that funny.

My vote: Not so funny.

2002-02-19 03:10:23 PM
It's never funny when someone falls. Now, getting kicked in the nuts, that's funny!

2002-02-19 03:12:28 PM
Nah, not that funny...

Now, if the fat chick who went down most of the luge on ass was in there... that would have been funny...

2002-02-19 03:12:52 PM
Hey, that luge guy fell after finishing his race. If you're going to be lame and say the other aren't funny then at least agknowledge that that one is.

Falling = Funny. Hence, the immortal hillarity of the banana peel. Hee hee, bananas...

I think one of those short track speed skaters got kicked in the nuts. Funny!

2002-02-19 03:16:23 PM
perhaps the olympics would be funnier if they had creme pie throwing contests going on in close proximity....

Hmm,
In picture number 3, where's that Aussie gold medalist? Is he: way in front and out of the picture, or (more likely) way behind and out of the picture?

...ducks and runs

What's with the hair on the Japanese guy? Is it caught in motion or is he like, one of these like, like freaking wierdos with like tewtal body piercings? And what indian tribe did he just walk out of?

2002-02-19 03:22:26 PM
When my wife would say,"Hey ya know whats funny?" or something along those lines I would interrupt by saying "When old people fall down." But I have started a new campaign to say "When figure skaters fall down."

Nothing funnier.

Is 4 and 9 Americas fault? Sorry Canada

He was way behind, he skated through the aftermath, and Ohno was still trying to beat him at the end of the race.

Someguy,
That's what I figured. I was seeing if I could stir up the insanity of this thread again. Not yet, apparently.

People fall down. Zog like. Make Zog laugh.

2002-02-19 03:33:12 PM
Haven't figured out my tags, yet, either....

Maybe all those Aussies are still passed out from celebrating Winter gold #2. Saw the medal ceremony for that last night (really nice looking girl beat out 2 Canadians in Womens' Aerials), and she almost made it through the end of "Advance, Australia Fair" before tearing up.

Uh, maybe if she sells her gold medal to get her crossed eyes fixed.

Where's Kraatz and Bourne - they had a nice wipeout at the end of their routine yesterday - cost them the bronze...well...maybe not...it is skating judges we are talking about here.

Sale is a hottie, but she ain't no Witt.

Seeing someone fall is never funny.

JdJoker- My contribution to your cause:
Figure skating pairs, everyone thinks the Canadians deserved the gold becasue the Russian stumbled (but still landed the jump and did not two-foot it, so no technical deduction). Anyone remembr the short program, from which this pipcture is taken? They fell. Not a stumble, not a bauble. He practically dumped her on her head. I laughed. And I think the Russians won.

Ctenidae
I saw the end of the Canadians' short program in a series of clips, without it being set up as "here's where the Canadians fell" or anything like that. It didn't look that bad to me, and since it was at the end, you could almost argue it was a last-minute change to the program.

If we're going to troll discuss this properly, we have to call everyone's manhood into question, like this:

Canada's all full of wusses - from Wayne "Watch my back while I complain about the officiating" Gretzky to David "Almost KO'd my girlfriend in the short program, and that's why we lost" Pelletier.
