Why?

Oh, you thought I meant... and then I didn't realize it because I didn't.. and then I slowly got it..

HEY!

They could take out all the words except "male.. difficulty comprehending... when... pretty woman" and it applies to just about anything.

If a female anchor looked more like a nerd, wearing no makeup/lipstick, the same amount of information would have been better comprehended by 76% of people in general...

Women watching the attractive female anchor were preoccupied as well, thinking "Look at her hair, those bangs are so disgusting...I would not have gone with that sash."

Not sure why I'm being misogynistic today. I kid because I love?

I've seen some guys stutter and turn red and trip over things around hot women, not me though. I speak with them calmly and maintain eye contact. I think maybe it's because I know full well I don't have a chance in hell.

When an article refers to someone as a nerd, and it's not a quote, you know you're dealing with some high journalistic standards, there....

Does anyone remember the commercial during the dotcom explosion that was just hot chicks playing at the beach (or something) and text scrolling on the bottom?

I dont think I ever read that text.

What were we talking about?

2004-11-02 02:00:21 PM
I used to be afraid of pretty women...until one of them confessed they're just as scared of me.

Can someone summurize the story for me? I had a hard time understaning it with the SBB banner flashing at me.

2004-11-02 02:01:17 PM
When are they going to publish the accompanying research?!

'Pretty woman have difficulties comprehending the news, period.'

2004-11-02 02:01:36 PM
Which makes me wonder what the Naked News crew is up to these days. I haven't even thought of these people in four years.

This explains why the naked news has always been a riddle wrapped in an enigma stuffed into a ham sandwich

I like to watch Headline News with the TV muted, since I can't stand to listen to Rudi talk.

Every time I hear her say "SAD'-dam" I want to shove my caq in her mouth to make her shut up. Well, for other reasons, too...

2004-11-02 02:33:17 PM
shoot, it took me three times just to get past the words "pretty woman"

Not good news for Naked News' credibility.

2004-11-02 02:36:18 PM
There used to be a news chick named Julie Hogan in my town (pop. 50,000) who was as stunning looking as she was horrible at anchoring. I used to get up at 6:00 when I was in high school just to watch the early AM news.

The station she worked for perpetually came in a distant 3rd (out of three) in the local news ratings. Suddenly, there was a HUGE spike in male viewership when she was on. The #1 news station in town was so threatened, they actually taped a couple of her casts off the TV and sent the tape to one of their sister stations in a bigger market in Cali.

They hired her immediately.
