Now THATS a job!
2002-02-18 11:17:14 AM
I'd buy that for a dollar.
2002-02-18 11:18:03 AM
Yeah, but voice of experience says the charm wears off real quick..... It's all fun and games until they try to speak
2002-02-18 11:19:42 AM
sounds good to me...I love music...and boobies are quite nice...and music and boobies at work? Why would I ever go home?
2002-02-18 11:20:43 AM
If I could surf Fark from this job, I would work 24/7!
2002-02-18 11:24:39 AM
I used to DJ in a nightclub on a road *full* of strip joints. The DJs from strip clubs were always skinny, sad little guys that would be forced to play songs like Prince's 'Kiss' at 33rpm because there weren't enough slow numbers to go around.
2002-02-18 11:29:13 AM
I knew two DJs in strip bars. One had an on-air gig for short time, everytime he would turn on his mic the first thing he would say was "Alllll-right".

I had a friend who's boyfriend did this right after college. Apparently the girls liked to pay up with the BJs when they didn't have any tip money. (My friend was not dating this guy WHILE he worked at the strip joint and she was a bit slutty herself).

Anyway, doesn't it worry anyone else that people with Bachelor degrees in broadcasting or journalism are working at these places? Let's hear it for the economy.
2002-02-18 11:42:17 AM
I had a college buddy that dropped out or freshman year.
We always kept in contact even after everyone had graduated. We all felt a little sorry for him because he was limited in the jobs he could take. Until..
He called and told us he was a manager at "Rick's" In New Orleans. Damn, I chose the wrong career feild.
2002-02-18 11:42:37 AM
I dunno. There are only so many times I can hear 'Back that ass up' before I have to go and kill myself.
2002-02-18 11:42:43 AM
I found that almost interesting... as I was too busy stuffing $1 bills in my co-workers blouse in the cube outside my office.
2002-02-18 11:43:52 AM
Interesting point. I wonder if the strippers have been feeling the economic 'pinch'?
2002-02-18 11:44:27 AM
this site is already farked.
2002-02-18 11:45:19 AM
Do they stil play "Girls, Girls Girls"
Every hour on the hour?
2002-02-18 11:50:44 AM
Only at the old-skool joints, AuntBea.

Seriously folks, this article was hilarious.
2002-02-18 11:55:53 AM
Question for the lovely ladies of this here board. If you were a stripper---what would your strippin' song be?

Mine would be "Unskinny Bop" by Poison. It just seems like it was written for pole dancin'
2002-02-18 11:59:05 AM
I dated a girl for a few months who dj'ed at a club. not glamorous, folks
2002-02-18 11:59:35 AM
Since ya brought it up.......

"Cowboy" by Kid Rock

"You shook me all night long" by AC/DC

Best.Stripping. Song. Ever.

Yep, those bring back great memories.............
2002-02-18 11:59:57 AM
Even though you tossed it out to the ladies, I've got an answer for your question from a guy's perspective. I've always thought it would be cool to see a girl perform to John Mellencamp's tune "Dance Naked".

PS- Got any good pics of your slightly slutty friend?
2002-02-18 12:02:29 PM
Sorry Catfish---Although I've come to a career crossroads of sorts---I'm not going to start Fark Pimpin'
2002-02-18 12:07:45 PM
Fark Pimpin' hehe

But aren't you uh, Crazy ???
2002-02-18 12:08:24 PM
I live in omaha, and there is no "New Players Club" here.
2002-02-18 12:10:04 PM
Catfish: I also like the John Mellencamp's "Dance Naked" song...
I think I could do a little dance to some Nine Inch Nails too....
2002-02-18 12:10:24 PM
I'm not going to start Fark Pimpin'

LMFAO! I can see a new hip hop song being written right now.
2002-02-18 12:11:38 PM
"fark you like an animal"

2002-02-18 12:12:51 PM
JOHNDX: Yup! That song is greatt for dancing....
2002-02-18 12:13:40 PM
FLA Chickie:
Cool! Any woman who can see herself doin' a little dance is alright by me. Could you dance to NIN in 9 inch heels? Now THAT would be tricky.
2002-02-18 12:18:57 PM
"Slow Ride"...Foghat... do know that 'Unskinny Bop' is about sex w/ a 'not so skinny' girl right?

FLA can dance to NIN?? Maybe I need to go get a NIN CD and listen to it...I just never thought of it as dancing music.

"Jungle Love"...Morris Day and the Time
2002-02-18 12:21:03 PM
I don't know that the economy really has much to do with the broadcating/journalism majors though. At my school anyway, and at many that I know of, people don't exactly take communications majors because they're the most challenging and intellectually stimulating ones out there. Not to say that all comm majors are stupid, but well, it wasn't the biochemists that you found in the club.
2002-02-18 12:21:59 PM
oh yeah...there is this rap CD that my roomie has, some girl singing/ has a song that is predominantly about's subtle, but my keen sense of observation picked up on it when there was a line that said something like 'lick my pu$$y'...
2002-02-18 12:24:22 PM
Enphinitie: You can dance to fark You Like an Animal...not sure about the rest of them little bit much for

Slow Ride - great song...
2002-02-18 12:26:58 PM
I also like the song Jay and Jane, but I'm not sure who sings it...
2002-02-18 12:27:13 PM
You want to hear a not so subtle rap song, go to Morpheus (or your download software of choice) and grab a copy of Colt .45 by Afro Man. I'm not a big rap or hip hop fan, but this song is farking great.
2002-02-18 12:28:10 PM
Yeah. I know it's not about fat chicks. Still a good strippin' song.

Perhaps you're right about the Communication majors. I was a com major and like to think of myself as a slightly smarter norm but there were a lot of morons in my school. There was a girl with coke bottle glasses and she always wore sweatshirts with silk screened puppies on the front. Wore galoushes in the rain. Snorted when she breathed. She graduated with honors I think.
2002-02-18 12:30:38 PM
There's a funny song going around called 'a.s.s and t.i.t.t.i.e.s'
2002-02-18 12:35:14 PM
Enphinitie....I believe the song you are refering to is "DWDTEMPR" (Don't want dick tonight you gotta eat my pussy right) by Lil Kim.

I think one of the best strip bar songs is Aldo Nova's "Fantasy".....A GREAT SONG!
2002-02-18 12:36:37 PM
Call me old-fashioned, but strippers should only be dancing to 80's hair bands. It just makes good sense.

Best song to strip to: Body Talk from Ratt
2002-02-18 12:38:10 PM
Try "put it in your mouth" or any of the other subtly named songs by Aakileya or however you spell it
2002-02-18 12:38:23 PM
FLA Chickie...yes...that song could be danceable I suppose. I think it is the lyrical content that makes it so appropriate tho.

Slow Ride...everytime I've been to a strip club, I have heard that song. Oh, yeah...I mean, I've never been to a strip club, but my 'friend' told me they play that a lot...and I try to imagine and I think it would be a good stripping song. Yeah, that's it. I've yet to find a gf to help me w/ my research tho.
2002-02-18 12:40:27 PM are right would be a nice stripping song...upbeat, funny...happy...and sexy in it's own way.

A song from the same era...
"Cherry Pie"...Warrant?
2002-02-18 12:41:49 PM
Leep75...i bet that is the one...thanks...
2002-02-18 12:42:48 PM
Leep75: I love Aldo Nova - that is a great song!

Enphinitie: Yes, the words definitely help...
2002-02-18 12:44:30 PM
I'm a big fan of "Show me your Pussy" by the Lords of Acid.
2002-02-18 12:46:37 PM
Crazy_girl: "Shadow Dancing" by Andy Gibb

"Sex on Wheels" by My Life w/ the Thrill Kill Kult

and anything by Air
2002-02-18 12:48:10 PM
oh and "In Your Wildest Dreams" by Rev. Horton Heat

ok really I'm done now. :)
2002-02-18 12:48:35 PM
"Take me home tonight"...Eddie Money (Mahoney is real name)

brings some imagery to mind...and would probably generate a lot of tips for the young lady...
2002-02-18 12:48:40 PM
Hell yes, Jungle Love

I always wanted to see a stripper dance to Radiohead's "Ideoteque", i think that would be cool

"i laugh until my head comes off"
2002-02-18 12:51:56 PM
"Jack and Diane"...John Mellencamp
...I just imagine the dancing during the drum solo...lends itself to a lot of creativity...
2002-02-18 12:59:28 PM
"i laugh until my head comes off"
