Silly Frenchies.

"Our retreating French soldier lost his way in the snowstorm," Volpe said to laughter.

He was simply trying to surrender to the orchestra.

Francois Giuliani, director of press and public relations for the Met...

Funny how NYC's premier operahouse is run by a Giuliani. So much for the great Sir Rudy and his non-biased politics. Why doesn't anyone remember the time when the masses referred to him as "the Nazi"?

Goes to show, you can do whatever you like for 99% of your life, throwing all caution to the wind, but as long as you perform a good deed as the last thing in your life, you'll be remembered as that great person.

Ya know, speaking as one who builds sets for plays, operas, and the like, If I were to see drawings for a set that made me thing about a net over the orchestra pit, I would tell the designer to go back to his drafting table, pick up his pencil, and shove it in his eye. Then come back to me with something I can make actor/singer proof.

Enough of the "France Surrenders" crap.

Jeeze, I love a good cliche, but being that this is the weekend (and considering what happened last weekend)I don't want to have to wade through a glut of "(insert your country here) surrenders" tag lines. cliche kitty, that's funny!

First their judges ruin pairs skating, now their soldiers ruin our operas. Should we hate them or thank them?

I went to the Ukraine vs. France game and I think France should have surrendered. They would just skate around and fall down the whole game...

Wow. This story is written an put on a major news site, and how many people died in civil wars around the world today?

Just wondering. It's a rhetorical question.

Yeah, Zardoz, they have news on that, too. What, news isn't supposed to report on arts and entertainment? Piss off, you dumb sack of shiat. Way to troll.
