"I tell you, if he had made Stalin dolls now one would have shiat. And Stalin killed way more people then Hitler."

There is a Salin action figure!

Am I the only one here who has seen the newer lines of historical action figures? They even make 3-1/2" WWII figures and vehicles, sheesh people get to a toy store sometime!

I hope the Mengele doll comes with its own scientific labratory.

I didn't just say that. Shame on me.

How about the French soldier? Oh yea they were only there to drop the rifles not actually to fight.

i could understand both points here. 1) They're nazi dolls. They shouldn't be made. 2) He's only selling them to Historians, not any moron can buy them in a store. People don't flip out when Hitler Documentaries are made. Its somewhat the same thing. My solution: Blame France.

Anatomically Correct,
right down to Hitlers one nut.

The idea of a movie where a Hitler doll comes to life would be creepy, and it'd probably gross 45mil at the Box Office in it's opening weekend.

"Fourth Reich! Hitler's back and this time, no more Mr. Nice Guy!"

They would be fun to play with in the Lego concentration camp from a week ago.

Sounds like a good idea. I'd dress up my Hitler in a wedding dress and marry him off to Ken. "Who's yer Fuhrer, who's yer Fuhrer...!"

I'm glad people are still offended by images of (s)Hitler.

Springtime for Hitler and Germany,
Deutschland is happy and gay.
We're marching to a faster pace,
Look out, here comes the master race.

Springtime for Hitler and Germany,
Winter for Poland and France.
Springtime for Hitler and Germany,
Come on, Germans, go into your dance

Funny isn't it...there is no end to the offensive art being produced in this country, all at the expense of unwilling taxpayers; the crucifix in urine, the cow flop Madonna, and worse. All with not so much as a peep of explanation save for "artistic" scorn.

Then this guy comes along...creates his own "art" (no fed funds), goes out of his way to explain the rationale and is denounced as the antichrist.

HAW! Hypocrites are the ultimate performace art, mais no?

And yes, isn't "The Producers" the biggest hit on Broadway these days? And who could forget "Hogan's Heroes"? Weird times indeed.

Can't we all just buy-a-Touret's-Syndrome-Grover along?

It must have been one heck of a meeting when they came up with Hogan's Heroes.

"Okay, this show will take place in a German prison camp."

"Yeah.."

"and it will be a comedy"

"Ya know, that isn't so funny. Unless the Germans were goons who couldn't get anything right. Because if this was based on fact, the show would go for a season and all the prisoners would die of typhus"

"Hogan's Heroes" was based upon the classic, 1953, Billy Wilder movie "Stalag 17". It had dark comedy in it for relief from what was, really, a very grim movie.

Trivia question:
What were the names of the two rats who raced each other in the movie "Stalag 17"?

Wouldn't it make more sense to have a "Tickle me Eichmann"? with optional Argentinian disguise kit? and then you could have the Isreali street hanging action playset!

Let the flames begin (Menachim, that is)

Why the assinine tag? Nowhere does it say that he's amazed that people find it contraversial...he probably knew that it was going to get some bad press when he made it. that was a given...pretty much any time you do something about hitler without saying he was a bad bad man you're gonna get frowned upon...but like he said...it's just an artform. Like whoever up there said, though, it would have been better if he started out with other people first and then went to the evil nazi's.

This reminds me, however, of a Mad Magazine thing awhile back (probably about 10 years ago actually) "The Franklin Mint's Famous Dictators" or something like that. Damn! How did i remember that?? I was a kid! I hardly remember stuff I read yesterday...I hardly remember what all I learned in school at the time...how did I remember a magazine article that i looked at for probably at the most 5 minutes? I'm crazy. Anyways...if anybody has any idea what i'm talking about, maybe you could find the pic and post it or something.
