Me so happy!!oneoneone
2004-10-18 12:24:51 PM
Oh curses, foiled again.

I sure miss Homsar and with a headline like that I thought there was at least a cameo.
2004-10-18 12:45:36 PM
I'm a big Homestar fan but this one, other than the part where they lost their skins upon seeing the ghost, is lame.
2004-10-18 01:10:19 PM
There is an egg when you click the "D" on The End.

It's weird to see that Strong Man's moustache actually has bones in it.
2004-10-18 01:19:53 PM
In an interview with the Brothers Chaps one of them said the old timey Homestar was the funniest thing that they had. Someone needs to tell them it's not.
2004-10-18 01:20:28 PM
Really it's not.
2004-10-18 02:01:03 PM
Rats, I was hoping for a new e-mail. These just aren't as exciting, IMHO. Oh well, it's free!

2004-10-18 03:06:42 PM
I think the old timey is the best of the Homestar-centric cartoons.

We could buy the monocle off of Rockefeller's very eyeball with that kind of cash!!
2004-10-18 03:51:23 PM
Personally, I find old-timey Marzipan much hotter than the modern Marzipan.

I like the real-world woman who does her voice too...
2004-10-18 03:58:35 PM
Old timey homestar is hilarious, but he was better in 20X6 vs 1936.

well folks you know what that means. Now i'll do a dance
2004-10-18 04:37:42 PM
I love the Homestar, but I hate these old-timeys.
2004-10-18 05:33:30 PM
Those are some strange dudes sometimes.
2004-10-18 05:35:36 PM
27 big ones!
2004-10-18 05:45:43 PM
that was bloody awful.

it seems that even homestar fans (myself included) hated this.
2004-10-18 06:37:22 PM
I've got nothing against old-timey HSRs, but this one just seemed to drrraaggggggg...
2004-10-18 06:37:29 PM
Yea... it's official. Old-Timey Homestar just isn't funny. And I love HSR.
2004-10-18 06:42:07 PM
I have to agree. Not their best animation. Rather dull actually.

But old time homestar isn't bad. Let's not forget the 20x6 vs 1936. And for god's sake let's not forget The Ballad of the Sneak!

Look who's drinking bootleg hooch while listening to the jazz! It's the sneak! You know it's the sneak! The sneakity sneak all day loooooong!
2004-10-18 06:43:27 PM
seeking humor....
2004-10-18 06:44:27 PM
what a piece of chit.
2004-10-18 06:44:47 PM
I personally love the old timey cartoons. While this one wasn't as good as some other ones, I still liked it.
2004-10-18 06:44:55 PM
old timey homestar blows. It needs to be shoved and kicked in the box. Or beaten like a tied up goat.

I hope they do another halloween toon, with the kickass costumes. Like HR as the greatest american hero.
2004-10-18 06:45:47 PM
I love old-timey homestar. This one was just too much at once. It's like 7 minutes of Homsar. It had it's moments, though. Just not so many funny ones. :(
2004-10-18 06:48:16 PM
anybody else laughing at the page title("Bury me deep I'm cold and clammy!")?
2004-10-18 06:48:35 PM
No way, the old-timey Homestar is wonderful. I especially liked the "It's the Sneak" song. And the old-timey marshmellow ad. Too funny.
2004-10-18 06:49:03 PM
I love Homestar -- and I generally like the old-timey ones, as long as they're short -- but not this time around.

The funny thing is, I've been in the hospital and I'm hopped up on Vicodin. I had thought this would make me appreciate Homestar more. Apparently not.

(Where's mah SB e-mail?)
2004-10-18 06:49:56 PM
it was good. its not laugh out loud fall out of your chair funny. but its still entertaining.
2004-10-18 06:52:11 PM
"We should split up"

"We'll do more damage that way"

2004-10-18 06:52:49 PM
this ubersucked. why do i keep clicking?
2004-10-18 06:55:58 PM
"we should split up"
"we can do more damage that way"

2004-10-18 06:59:54 PM
You know, I usually love homestar stuff, but this one just didn't appeal to me that much.
2004-10-18 07:00:36 PM
2004-10-18 07:01:25 PM
I'm a huge fan but I thought that was a waste of time.

Strong Bad's mustache having bones cracks me up though.
2004-10-18 07:02:04 PM
Can I have my 2 dollars - er 2 minutes back, please.
2004-10-18 07:03:03 PM
I hate Mondays until I remembered Homestarrunner. Would have preferred a new SB email though.
2004-10-18 07:03:20 PM
That was actually kinda cute... "I bury myself alive on Tuesdays..."
Sounds like something a dumb "goth" would do.
2004-10-18 07:03:49 PM

How dare you?! I think every Homsar appearance is a masterpiece, and the longer the better.

Okay, not masterpiece, but you know what I mean.

2004-10-18 07:04:33 PM
Hahahaha! hahahaha!
That cartoon is dumb!
/Needs more 20X6
2004-10-18 07:05:26 PM
I hope that's not all we are getting for Halloween from the brothers. That really sucked.
2004-10-18 07:05:50 PM
hot crackers! i take exception to that!

old timey humor is the best kind of humor, and i shall engage in fisticuffs with whomever may disagree!
2004-10-18 07:05:56 PM
Love Homestar, not so much Homesar.
2004-10-18 07:07:26 PM
I will never find Gold Pants, to fit this tiny waist!
2004-10-18 07:10:54 PM
That was awsome, keep it up BC.
2004-10-18 07:11:31 PM
I think it's great! They spoof so many things...cracks me up every time. While Strong Bad Emails are awesome, their other cartoons make it more interesting...they give you more variety....
2004-10-18 07:13:09 PM
That was moderately good. Yes, Ballad of the Sneak was much better.

See any other Easter eggs besides D in The End?
2004-10-18 07:14:36 PM
I like the old timey ones myself. This one was a little weak, but it had a few good lines.
2004-10-18 07:24:03 PM
The best cat in the world is named Punkin. I let her watch this HSR, and she thought it was very funny that they were ascared of the she laughed, and I took a picture.

I love the old-e tym-e Homestars! Brilliant!
2004-10-18 07:38:14 PM
Criminey crickets! Great car-toon.
