desolationrow, yeah seriously. the Soviets left mines EVEYWHERE and didn't bother to write down where they were. thats why the us army has teams in afghanistan removing mines from everywhere with special equipment... so innocent civilians like these 2 saps won't get turned into a pink mist

I guess we don't agree on the meaning of the word "fasting"

During ramadan muslims fast during the day, but can eat at night.

"That mine was bound to kill innocent people sooner or later. Maybe this way it'll draw some more attention to the fact that mines don't discriminate. Even people senseless enough to hit things with hammers don't deserve to be blown up."

Ya, but a couple a brown fereners got blowed up real good! Hyuk hyuk!

Remember those fireworks that are like a string with a thing in the middle and you pull both sides of the string until the thing in the middle explodes? Its basically like a lady finger on a string. Well one time i decided to cut one in half with a pair of scissors. BOOM right in my face. Lucky i wasn't injured. Far cry from prying open a land mine though, i was.

How good can a mine be that you need to whack with a damn hammer to set it off. I see a strong product liability suit here.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that there are farkers who are saying "good" and "2 down, lots to go" for U.S. allies who have been very strongly supporting the U.S. and have been instrumental in obliterating the Taliban?

Or is it one of those "kill on the darkiest from east asia and the middle east" kind of things?

I think it's not a case of racism so much as anti-idiotism.
The point being, if you are dumb enough to hit a mine with a hammer you kind of had it coming.

"Villager Muhammad Latif found the mine in a village near the town of Sialkot, near Pakistan's heavily fortified border with rival India"

I wonder if he's related to Queen Latifah.... "And now, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Villager Muhammad and Queen Latifah..."

I say we ship more mines to them. Sooner or later, somebody will get lucky and open one up with a hammer.

Until then, though...."Do ya feel lucky, Punk?"

how can we cultivate compassion here?
