Very grateful to have 103.3 FM, ESPN radio here in Dallas, even tho I prefer the other sportsradio station, The Ticket. ESPN broadcasts the games.

I was about to machine gun the station, tho, when I tuned in at 1200pm CST, and they were still covering the Bill Parcells daily press conference. Thankfully, the switched over to the Cards v. Dodgers just in time.

During these tumultous times, my oppenents will tell you they are the better team, they are more deserving. After all, the Braves have been there before, and have the most experience. The Cardinals will tell you they have the better team due to their leader, Albert Pujols. My friends, I ask you, how important is experience? Wouldn't you like to see our country with a fresh new look? As for Albert, I say check his birth cerficate. He wouldn't be the first player to fudge his age.
Now let me tell you what I stand for. I stand for keeping a 37 year old employed by putting him in left field. Sure he's pulling his weight at the plate, but really, how many runners is he going to throw out? I stand for keeping my first baseman for old times sakes. Let's just hope he gets that cortizone shot this week and hits like his old self. I also stand for using my bull pen to it's full extent and using Mike Lamb as a pinch hitter. But more importantly, I stand for fufilling a woman's dream. The dream she has had since she was 8 years old and wanted to be an Astro but realized there were no girls on the team. I stand for making it right for all the Astros' fans from 1986.
