2002-02-11 09:10:05 AM
Umm....lets not.

2002-02-11 09:11:29 AM
Let's not and say we did.

2002-02-11 09:11:59 AM
Not that we want to kiss his ass or anything...

Dagny Taggart Wil Wheaton
John Galt Wil Wheaton
Hank Rearden Wil Wheaton
Francisco d'Anconia Wil Wheaton

Should be an interesting movie.

Is Wil the "unknown" in the results?
How long do you think it will take them to fix the poll?

2002-02-11 09:15:25 AM
Gotta get moving...we need to catch up. Wil would be an excellent choice for all 4 major characters. It could be the next "Mouse That Roared". I smell an Emmy! Ooopss..nope, that was just beans.

2002-02-11 09:15:51 AM
Maybe Wil can play all the roles simoultaneously. Kind of like Eddie Murphy in those "Nutty Professor" movies.

2002-02-11 09:17:04 AM
Maybe we should wait for Wil to say he's interested in doing it.

THEN we can fix the poll.

Camille is a hotty. (although too smart for me)

2002-02-11 09:19:13 AM
ayn rand is for teenage intellectual wannabes and slimy farking bourgeois shiatheads looking to rationalize their own parasitic existence.

2002-02-11 09:19:32 AM

[ahem} /troll.....

2002-02-11 09:20:07 AM
Mme, Mr. Cranky sure is cute. I have a little fella as well. He is horribly obese and is named Special Patrol, but has a heart of gold. (and carrots)

2002-02-11 09:20:45 AM
done*4

2002-02-11 09:21:06 AM
We should vote Wil in just for S & G. I voted him for all four roles. Viva la Fark!

2002-02-11 09:21:23 AM
Peter Jackson for Director. heh.

At least he's shown he can direct something of this size without farking it up.

2002-02-11 09:23:27 AM
oboy. *cough*itletsyouvoteagain*cough*
Wil will play all the parts now.
wil will.
wil will.
that just sounds funny.
*goes off babbling about lack of sleep and forums*

it smells your fear

2002-02-11 09:24:35 AM
Woohoo!

I can't wait to see Wil playing all 4 parts at one time. This should be cool.

Wil, you have my votes! You go, girl!

2002-02-11 09:24:45 AM
Ayn Rand, yuch.

2002-02-11 09:25:18 AM
*chuckles at the "you go, girl" comment*

M0ppy

You're killing me! LOL

2002-02-11 09:26:51 AM
This sucks...the voting results aren't updated automatically....how are we supposed to know how well we've farked this up?

2002-02-11 09:27:49 AM
I think if we all donate one dollar to Wil he can get a better agent to get his name out there. Then he can use his skills as an actor during the audition to get the part.

2002-02-11 09:29:31 AM
Who's going to be in "Telemachus Sneezed?"

If Atlas can shrug, why can't telemachus sneeze?

2002-02-11 09:30:49 AM
Wil deserves to farking die for taking so long in judging the Photoshop entries. And where in the Hell is the FARK article linking to SA stating that the judging is finally done?

P.S. Censorship sucks ass. Put that in a bucket and f_uck it.

2002-02-11 09:30:56 AM
Perhaps, before taking on such a demanding role, Wil should work on his "judging-Photoshopping-and-returning-the-results-in-a-timely-fashion" skills.

2002-02-11 09:31:01 AM
"How has Atlas Shrugged affected your life? According to a 1991 Library of Congress survey: "Atlas Shrugged is second only to the Bible as the most influential book in America"

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

::snore::

2002-02-11 09:32:13 AM
Oh yeah, 3M...like skill and merit have something to do with it. You'd think you actually have to earn something in this country. Jeez, some people! Why can't you just rig everything and create a system of mediocrity like every other socialist country in the world? It's so much easier and less upsetting to the masses.

2002-02-11 09:36:07 AM
Elrond, having a rich Daddy helps too.

So every other country in the world is socialist? lol.

Kan
2002-02-11 09:36:13 AM
I pronounce today as "Krap Link Day"

2002-02-11 09:37:08 AM
Done.

Just do it and stop whining you imbeciles.

2002-02-11 09:37:08 AM
Harmonia...learn English.
I said like every other socialist country in the world...not that every other country in the world is socialist.
Besides, it was a joke, not a troll. Trolling is your forte.

2002-02-11 09:37:10 AM
And in news just in fark.com is alledged ot have the worst links ever, more after the sports news with Kan.....

2002-02-11 09:38:44 AM
And on the topic of rich daddies....I don't know a country in the world, ever, anywhere, where having a rich daddy didn't make a difference.
It's unfortunate, but it's the way it is. No system will ever overcome the ties that bind friend and family wealth.

2002-02-11 09:39:06 AM
Wheaton would make the perfect Kip Chalmers.

Or maybe the Wet Nurse.

2002-02-11 09:39:17 AM
Definition of a Troll:

Disagrees with me= Troll

Agrees with me-Clever fellow.

Whats your forte Elrond?

2002-02-11 09:40:09 AM
Being a crook with a rich Daddy is another surefire way to the top.

2002-02-11 09:41:59 AM
Harmonia...a troll is someone who fishes for responses.
I don't do that. I simply post and the hell with it. I have my opinions, others have theirs.

My forte, Harmonia, is laughing in the face of everyone who thinks their opinions actually mean something. I'm a believer in opinions are like assholes.

2002-02-11 09:42:02 AM
I'm pretty impressed with the guy. Last week, my daughter (heavily involved in drama at school) commented on how cute he was while we were watching Star Trek TNG. Later than night, I emailed Mr. Crusher from his website, introduced myself and asked him to email her at her address, explaining that it would make her day. I promptly forgot about it.

A few days later, he sent her an email that was titled "Drama Geeks Rule", and offered insightful advice and encouragement. It tickled the heck out of her, and gave me one heck of a good impression about Mr. Wheaton. She took it to school this morning to show off her "brush with greatness

2002-02-11 09:42:45 AM
I like Ayn Rand......

2002-02-11 09:43:54 AM
Harmonia,
Can you think a single more repulsive American(I know she's Russian, but whatever...)writer than Ayn Rand?

I can't.

She's the Steven King of philosophers....

2002-02-11 09:44:48 AM
Everyone should read this book (it is unsuprisingly my personal favorite of all time) although rather extreme in it's consequences, it shows pretty much where we are heading...

btw, i doubt the movie will ever get made anyway, it's scope is huge and 'in this day and age' anyone trying to would undoubtedly be forced dilute the points that Rand made.

the fountainhead also rocks, but would encourage everyone to at least read 'Anthem' (an 80page short story which is a great read)

2002-02-11 09:44:57 AM
Dagny Taggart Pam Anderson
John Galt Wil Wheaton
Hank Rearden Wil Wheaton
Francisco d'Anconia Abe Vigoda

2002-02-11 09:45:16 AM
Elrond, you were the one who came steaming in and causing a fight.,

As for the assholes, well takes one to know one and I bet you are quite the little expert

2002-02-11 09:46:18 AM
Rhizome23, I read teh fountainhead and quite liked it as a story, but the philosophy behind it (The rich are great and the poor are stupid and lazy) left me cold.

2002-02-11 09:48:00 AM
Why is she so repulsive?

2002-02-11 09:48:16 AM
Ummm...Harmonia, I explained what my post was about. It was a joke, not a troll.
It seems you are one against the world. I've never said anything about you personally, ever, anywhere. I've never attacked you.

My comment about assholes wasn't about you. It's an old saying. "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one". So, am I one? Guess so. But as I said, I don't care. You obviously take your opinions very seriously. I can't help you in that regard. You also like to troll for responses. I don't. I can't help you in that regard either. As for me, I have a job, I usually hang out and read about 50 comments or so. I'm pretty much done now.
So...take your shots. You seem to enjoy it.
