[Hollywood News] London, Sep.21 :The Russian duo of Lena Katina and Julia Volkova of Tatu fame are dumping their 'leabian' image for a hungry heterosexual one, in a bid to try to recapture the music charts.

"The truth is the girls were never lesbians in the first place.They feel like they were exploited. They were only aged 14 and 15 when they started singing in concert halls and doing sexy routines," an insider was quoted by The Sun, as saying.

"Julia and Lena are getting rid of their skimpy school uniforms in favour of a sassier, sexier look," the insider added.

Tatu, which topped the charts for four weeks in February 2003 with 'All The Things She Said', are reportedly also in talks with producer Trevor Horn, for planning their comeback show at a Prince's Trust concert in November. (ANI)

They're not bad singers, they just don't have any original songs.

I do like their remake of "I am human and I want to be loved", on their 200kmh in the wrong lane album.

One of them has an almost inhuman ability to sing high, well, fast.... not sure which. The other isn't quite as good and her english isn't great either.

The other annoying thing about that album is 2 of the pieces are the same pieces just done in Russian. So you only end up with about 7 original songs, one of which is a remake, and two of which are just wierd.
