I thought that diapers were supposed to hide babies' cracks.

2004-09-09 12:45:29 PM
Which, I'm sure, is the joke the [image from too old to be available] tag implies.

No need to get yer undies in a bunch over this one, folks.

Ha! I said undies in a thread about diapers! So funny!
2004-09-09 01:47:22 PM
That's some nasty shiat.
2004-09-09 01:48:02 PM
2004-09-09 01:48:13 PM
There's a hole in Daddies arm where all the money goes...
2004-09-09 01:48:57 PM
It would have been even more funny if the guy had been a plumber
2004-09-09 01:49:21 PM
Not ironic.
2004-09-09 01:49:31 PM
You mean they didn't lock up the baby for possession??? What's the War On Drugs coming to??
2004-09-09 01:49:34 PM
how about we double up the punishments for crimes if you have children? Sort of a 'school zone' for life thing.

smoking weed should be legal by the way.

/ my $.02
2004-09-09 01:50:30 PM
Put *THAT* in your pipe and SMOKE it!!!!...

/Walter's buddy says...."Gee that's funny....I've never smoked "brown" crack before..."
2004-09-09 01:50:53 PM
140,000 worth of crack my ass... probably like 30,000 prior to the police BS factor. Glad they sentence people with drugs to more jail time than child molestors..
2004-09-09 01:51:04 PM
Smoking weed isn't legal???
2004-09-09 01:51:33 PM
Maybe his wife put it there during a night feeding while he was sleeping (or at least pretending to sleep).
2004-09-09 01:52:10 PM
So would that be called "ass crack"?
2004-09-09 01:52:53 PM
That crack is gonna have a real bad aftertaste.

Kids these days are starting younger and younger ...
2004-09-09 01:53:22 PM
damn you canucks and amsterdaminians.

i'm not smoking now, i swear
2004-09-09 01:53:23 PM
So is it ironic to use the ironic tag when something is not ironic?

That has to be it.
2004-09-09 01:53:33 PM
How much crack can you buy for $140,000?

Not including the weight of the diaper or the baby that was probably used in weighing out the quanity?
2004-09-09 01:53:43 PM
Legal weed and fatherless babies, what a wonderfull world that would be ;)
2004-09-09 01:53:51 PM
That's nothin.....wait till you see the plumber's crack.
2004-09-09 01:54:25 PM
oh and by the way, there's a gun within the children's reach. nothing could possibly go wrong with that.
"stupid" would have been more appropriate.
2004-09-09 01:55:50 PM
"My day? Un-freakin'-believable! First we nailed this bastard who had the gall to hide his stuff in his daughters doll! Her doll, for God's sake! Where's the line anymore? I got news for you: its not even on the radar screen! The days of decency and virture are gone, honey! Bam! Freakin' evaporated like a dingy, stinkin' mud puddle! One day, you can see your reflection in it, and the next day its a damn oil spot on your cracked driveway, staring back at you, mocking you: Blah! Blah! Blah! Knowing the perverted truth that rots in the pit of your soul!/That's how my freakin' day was!"
2004-09-09 01:55:56 PM
the kids dad is going to jail anyway. lets make him think twice about getting the crack or having the baby
2004-09-09 01:56:53 PM
...and he would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for his meddling kid....
2004-09-09 01:57:38 PM
just say no to crack
2004-09-09 01:58:05 PM
I knew some people once who taught their toddler to pull out his diaper and say "Tuck a buck?"

They found a few bucks in there sometimes.

Sick, but funny as hell.
2004-09-09 01:58:07 PM
baby wipes in the hall cabinet, heroin's in the diaper pail. got it.
2004-09-09 02:01:31 PM
days of decency? when were those? did I miss something? (besides capitolisation and decent gramar)
2004-09-09 02:01:48 PM

2004-09-09 02:02:25 PM
Any crack dealers on FARK that wanna tell us how much you would sell for $140,000?
2004-09-09 02:02:54 PM
This isn't irony, its coincidence...

IRONY: Poignantly contrary to what was expected or intended

True life example - some traffic/pedestrian safety official walked out in front of a bus a few years ago. THAT is irony. This is coincidence.
2004-09-09 02:03:52 PM
at least he didn't shove the crack up the babies crack...

2004-09-09 02:06:00 PM
Any crack dealers on FARK that wanna tell us how much you would sell for $140,000

Not unless they want to join the guy in the story for a nice long 'vacation'.
2004-09-09 02:06:06 PM
The article doesn't say but was the diaper on the kid or was it just laying around in the car? If the diaper was on the kid i'll bet dear old dad put a cork up is but to keep junior from messing up his stash.

2004-09-09 01:55:50 PM xmorrandirx

if so

"i'll take you on right now baby jesus!"
2004-09-09 02:06:59 PM
It is ironic. The man arrested is very anti-drug; the crack actually belong to the baby.
2004-09-09 02:07:08 PM
What does $140,000 worth of crack look like anyway? I'd guess it wasn't really worth that much.
2004-09-09 02:09:41 PM
I thought Rick James was dead...
2004-09-09 02:13:36 PM
best use of ironic tag. EVAR.
2004-09-09 02:14:04 PM
Why must people biatch aboot whether-or-not something is ironic or not? For those of you that have complained aboot this being ironic or not, what tag would you use? I, for one, can _see_ the irony in this situation, though its not totally ironic...but I perosnally can't think of a better tag to use for this article.
2004-09-09 02:16:06 PM
Was his wife smoking cigs near a gas leak by any chance?
2004-09-09 02:16:36 PM
. An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
-American Heritiage Dictionary

one definition, they used irony correctly .
2004-09-09 02:17:26 PM
Theres a rumor circulating that the brown crack going around is poison. Cool it. Its not poison - it's just badly manufactured.

2004-09-09 02:18:07 PM will continue to sanitize my crevasse and be damn grateful of the opportunity. Starting right ...emm..emmm... not now but soon.
2004-09-09 02:18:30 PM
I think it's a funny headline.

"...the bartender says 'why the long face.'"
Wait! Horses don't go to bars.
yeah, it's a JOKE.
2004-09-09 02:19:30 PM
Stuffing drugs in a babies' diaper makes it's brown eye blue.
2004-09-09 02:20:41 PM
So, even if the submitter used the ironic tag because of the (butt)crack hidden by the diaper... THAT STILL wouldn't be ironic... I would think "obvious" would have been more fitting in that run.

Nice try, but no.
2004-09-09 02:22:46 PM
Great...more news from my degerate hometown :(
2004-09-09 02:23:16 PM
Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson wanted for questioning.
