They seriously get rings?
Wow.

2004-08-23 01:59:32 PM
Well, they have to pay them somehow for all the free sex.

2004-08-23 01:59:33 PM
They also only get $15 bucks a game.

Cheerleaders, locker room guys, front office people. Everybody gets the damn things. I'm really quite surprised more of them don't end up on eBay.

I was at a Bruins game a couple years ago sitting next to some huge dude and his girlfriend, except she was wearing this massive super bowl ring. I just naturally assumed it was his. Turns out she was a cheerleader for the team and got a ring. Even the office staff gets rings apparently.

The only thing I can give to them is my gratitude.

I can think of one other thing she could give that might grab attention.

"Well, they have to pay them somehow for all the free sex."

This statement made me pause and reflect upon the mechanics of paying for free sex. My head has asploded.

that ring is worth more than their entire season's pay....

how is this possible?

I knew a Patriots cheerleader, and she told me they had to buy their superbowl rings if they wanted them. They apparently aren't just given to the cheerleaders. Maybe that's new this year after the expense of giving them away in the past.

2004-08-23 02:34:44 PM
I am fantasizing that she lost it inside another cheerleader.

2004-08-23 02:35:29 PM
I can't understand, how did the ring slip off of her hoo-ha ?

2004-08-23 02:36:06 PM
In a related story, a Patriot's football player ironically lost his Super Bowl ring in Patriot cheeleader.

/I got nothing...

They have their own website if anyone is so inclined...

Probably safe for work, though there ARE bikini pictures - not sure how strict YOUR work is...

2004-08-23 02:42:27 PM
Hmm, interesting.

I always wanted to be a Ben-Gal cheerleader but you don't get shiat for pay and it's a huge commitment.

2004-08-23 02:45:12 PM

Some cheerleaders in the NFL get paid and others dont get paid at all. They make most their money from appearence fees.

Who ever gets Superbowl rings is up to the owner of the team. The NFL allocates a certain amount per team but the owner can buy more. The Patriots owner bought rings for everyone involved with the club.

I just watched Ace Ventura: Pet Detective last night, and the fact that cheerleaders get rings constitutes a major plot hole.

As a sidenote, my hairdresser is an ex-Redskinette. Hotttt with multiple t's.

What, you've never heard of marriage?

The only thing I can give to them is my gratitude.
For me, it's valuable because there's only one first,

quite frankly, I'n not quite sure which way to go here.

I dont know if most teams do it, but the Pats' owner pretty much bought everybody who had anything to do with the organization a ring. Some had to pay part of the price (cheerleaders for one), but I'm pretty sure even the kid who runs out for coffee and donuts in the morning got one of these big old rings. Maybe 3 months ago, a player lost his ring when he was washing his hands at a mall. He ended up getting it back the next day, and the guy who returned it ended up getting all sorts of free stuff (tickets, jerseys, etc)

/Thank you, drive through

What is this 'marriage' that you speak of?

2004-08-23 02:53:57 PM
I guess it's pretty typical for an entire sports organization to receive rings when the team wins a championship.

A guy I went to college with worked for the Yankees and he has 4 World Series rings. He likes to wear one of them out when we go drinking and, I swear, it's like he's one of the Stonecutters. He gets free drinks, girls phone numbers, cuts to the front of the line. Good stuff.

Its gone forever!!!She was out being the usual attention whore I'm sure and someone snagged it.Bwhahahahahahahaha

2004-08-23 03:00:20 PM
With the second Super Bowl win Bob Kraft significantly reduced the number of people outside of players and managers who recieved rings for free. But for the first Super Bowl win, almost everyone got a ring.

2004-08-23 03:01:35 PM
I bet some Patriot players have lost rings inside of cheerleaders

sorry

When the Packers won the Super Bowl in 1996 they bought everyone who worked full time in the Packers Organization a Super Bowl ring. They had to buy like $150,000 - $250,000 worth of extra rings. So, if you were a receptionist working full time you got a ring! And that ladies and gentlemen is why the Packers are the greatest.sports.franchise.ever!

So what's new? I got teeshirts and pens and all kinds of stuff just for waiting tables at sports banquets, and I lost it all too. It was kinda nifty, but it wasn't worth worrying about.

2004-08-23 03:12:40 PM
In a related Boston Herald article, they mentioned that she paid $5000 for the ring. They paid for them.
