Judge =

2004-08-19 11:58:02 AM
Anybody who still listens to the whining baby stern has become should too.

2004-08-19 11:58:28 AM
Let's hear it for Jersey; trying damn hard to be the new Florida

2004-08-19 11:59:08 AM
"Maybe in three years they'll have a good team," McCarthy, who said he has become a Yankee fan, cracked outside the courtroom.

I hate those people. Real fans don't just change teams because the other one is winning.

/Yes, I root for the Red Sox, and I always will.

2004-08-19 11:59:59 AM
He should have been a college football prospect.

/obvious

2004-08-19 12:00:11 PM
Whatever happened to Morganna the Kissing Bandit? Now there's some funbags I'd like to see make an appearance on the field...

2004-08-19 12:00:52 PM
Damn........ that's a pretty harsh sentencing

2004-08-19 12:02:13 PM
Welcome to the USA, home of the most draconian laws in the world.

/we won't rest until we have the highest number of incarcerated citizens in the world, USA! USA! USA!

2004-08-19 12:02:17 PM
Sounds like it made that game more interesting, the Mets should hire that guy.

2004-08-19 12:02:43 PM
To weekends? How much is that in English?

2004-08-19 12:02:48 PM
This is clearly ClearChannel's fault.

2004-08-19 12:02:59 PM
That's what people go to prison for in your country? Next thing you'll tell me that it's illegal to sell $10 bags of dope with Big Macs! I thought banning anyone who runs on the field from coming back was enough... go prisons go!

/Is the Kissing Bandit in prison also?

2004-08-19 12:03:33 PM
That's a little harsh.

The Greeks gave that nutjob in the blue tutu 5 months, I think that's uncalled for. He wasn't trying to hurt anyone.

2004-08-19 12:03:46 PM
The end of the world is extremely farking nigh.

2004-08-19 12:04:06 PM
Oh yeah, and anyone else think 'Hannover Fiste' whenever somebody mentions the name Stern? Kinda obscure...

2004-08-19 12:04:26 PM
Actually, the Mets should have asked him if he could play shortstop

2004-08-19 12:05:11 PM
I gotta say this ruling is pretty . Eight weekdends in jail and 3 years probation, just for running onto the field and hurting exactly NO ONE?

. Just .

2004-08-19 12:06:32 PM
Strangely, just by running on the field, this guy has a batting average 2 points higher than Todd Zeile's this year.

2004-08-19 12:06:47 PM
I think I'd rather serve 16 consecutive days than 8 weekends. Just imagine how depressing each Friday would be, knowing you'd have to check into jail right after work.

2004-08-19 12:06:56 PM
Dil Doe

Which of these is correct?

a) He was sentenced to weekends in prison
b) He was sentenced too weekends in prison
c) He was sentenced two weekends in prison

Try to know what the fark you're talking about before you try to be a grammar nazi.

2004-08-19 12:07:01 PM
Good, the punishment should be enough of a detterent to keep other farktards off the field. You never know when someone is going to get Monica Seles'd.

2004-08-19 12:07:38 PM
He should have been given that sentence simply for BEING a Stern fan...

2004-08-19 12:08:13 PM
Heard the guy who took the dive at the Olympics was instantaneously sentenced to 5 months!

"That's a little harsh.

But I don't think he should just be running all over the place. C'mon, could you imagine how many more people would do this stupid shiat if the penalty was basically a slap on the wrist ? Bad enough baseball games have people accidentally bouncing beachballs on the field and making the game that much longer.

2004-08-19 12:11:14 PM
Artie (on the Stern show) is the ONLY reason I still listen occaisonally. That guy is hilarious, and an out of control drunk. Gotta love that.

Oh, and the submitter's headline is grammatically correct as it is. Read is again if ya dont get it.

2004-08-19 12:11:56 PM
I love seeing guys run on the field and get clocked. I was at Fenway to see them play the Mariner's, top of the 7th I think some dude hops the right field wall, drunkenly jogs over to Trot Nixon, and taps him on the shoulder. Needless to say, Trot was startled, but he just shook the guy's hand and patted him on the back. Then the dude takes off (well, wobbles off really) for the dugout and security just ploughs him. Good fun for all.

The problem is shiatheads like the people who attacked the ump or stabbed Monica Seles, ruining it for everyone. If all that ever happened was people getting kissed or hugged or even flicked off, nobody would care, but you just can't trust everyone to play nice anymore.

2004-08-19 12:12:01 PM
One down...

2004-08-19 12:12:09 PM
oops, my last post isn't grammatically correct. I meant read IT again.

my bad!

2004-08-19 12:14:03 PM
Oh, and I agree the submitter's headline is fine. It's phrased slightly awkwardly, but it's 100% correct in terms of grammar.

2004-08-19 12:15:07 PM
It's amazing just how BAD the Stern show has become recently.

I've listened and enjoyed for like 20 years. Maybe I've just outgrown it? I don't know.

What I DO know is that he's become such a goofy propagandist shill for the dems, I just can't listen to it.

Then just change the f*cking station, assh*le!
Yep, just did.

2004-08-19 12:15:14 PM
But I don't think he should just be running all over the place. C'mon, could you imagine how many more people would do this stupid shiat if the penalty was basically a slap on the wrist?

You support the death penalty as a deterrent don't you?

2004-08-19 12:15:54 PM
First McGreevey, then the Fat Darrell, now this guy - looks like we have a New Jersey trifecta!

/Do we qualify for a Jersey tag yet?

2004-08-19 12:17:31 PM
This guy gets 8 weekends in jail for running onto a baseball field. A former friend of my wife gets 16 weekends in jail for leaving the scene of an accident which resulted in the death of the other driver.

Justice baby. Justice.

/shaking head

2004-08-19 12:18:18 PM
I still think the best "people on the field getting what's coming" was anyone who got between Reggie Jackson and the dugout after the last out of the World Series. Reggie farking just put his head down and levelled everyone in his way. Knocked some chick into the outfield. Excellent stuff.

2004-08-19 12:19:00 PM
xarlos

Not only 5 months, but a guy on ESPN was calling for him to be shot, along with the owners of Golden Palace

2004-08-19 12:20:06 PM
Stern fan = Bush hater = Terrorist!!

2004-08-19 12:22:11 PM
As a non-fan of MLB thanks to Selig and Steinbrenner letting the game go to waste, I have to comment on this nutjob.

He's a Yankees fan now. Hoo boy. Another retard that is a "fan" of a team that tries to buy a championship every farking year. Like the Lakers.

I love watching both teams choke, and choke hard.

2004-08-19 12:22:47 PM
"Gopher 321
Oh yeah, and anyone else think 'Hannover Fiste' whenever somebody mentions the name Stern? Kinda obscure..."

I do every time I here that name 'STERN!!'

way too much free time and acid floating around when I was in college...even had the soundtrack to the movie.

2004-08-19 12:22:47 PM
Uh... isn't that manslaughter?

2004-08-19 12:23:31 PM
...In response to alitaki

2004-08-19 12:23:36 PM
This whole attitude of "I can do whatever I feel like doing, whenever I feel like doing it, just so long as no one gets hurt" has got to stop.

/this is a good start

2004-08-19 12:24:57 PM
Pro sports are stupid. I mean, think about it. It's a bunch of rich dudes who aren't even from your city playing a game. Heck, a lot of them aren't even American. How can anyone possibly care if your city's team wins? The players have nothing to do with your city. I've never understood the attraction.

Then again, the guy running on the field is stupid too so I guess that makes it even.

2004-08-19 12:25:29 PM
"Any knucklehead who wants to run on the field should be prepared to lose both his weekends and his drinking money."

And his anal virginity.

2004-08-19 12:27:47 PM
too bad for him the judge wasn't lenient because the conviction would "ruin his career"

2004-08-19 12:27:57 PM
Do we have to say "pound-me-in-the-ass" every time the word "prison" appears in the headline?

It wasn't that funny the first time, and it certainly isn't funny anymore.

Remember funny?

2004-08-19 12:28:41 PM
Yossarian22, a Heavy Metal reference is no more obscure than a Catch-22 reference. Nicely played.

2004-08-19 12:29:44 PM

We need that judge here in Chicago for our White Sox "fans"

2004-08-19 12:31:44 PM
Howard Stern still has fans?

2004-08-19 12:32:16 PM
Is any one else tired of this "pound-me-in-the-ass-prison" thing?

I mean, not the cliche, but the being in prison and the ass pounding that seems to go with it...

2004-08-19 12:32:19 PM
tufty: Welcome to the USA, home of the most draconian laws in the world.

Yeah, cause getting your hand chopped off for petty theft or being stoned to death for being raped are just slaps on the wrist.

Get some perspective, man.
