But looking like a pimp after your ass gets tossed out of the playoffs (Ray Lewis) is still acceptable behavior.

"boo hoo"

That's what you get when you sleep with the devil. They tell you what to wear, what to drink. Enjoy the money!

Some day they'll find a way to keep anyone who hasn't bought a pair of Reeboks in the past year from even watching the Super Bowl.

Boo Hoo! Most Kickers make more than the majority of people in the US. My heart bleeds for you... really.

The N.F.L. is really strict about dress code as it is. They fine you if your socks aren't pulled up all the way.
$100,000 is a lot to piss away, even for a football player.

Sad. If they were to hit a referee they would probably only get $25-$50k fine.
It kind of lets you know where the game gone.

That is farking sad. I'd hate to have to be a corporate whore like that.

I'm so glad that it is about the game!

That's why I will only be watching for the bottom of my glass and using "the game" as a pretext for getting smashingly drunk and bloated on barbeque.

Heck, I watch the Super Bowl for the clever commercials, not the coporate logos that adorn the players clothes.

After all it ISN'T the players' uniforms, it belongs to the team. "Uni-form". The same?

<sarcasm>

The NFL is stifling the player's kindergarten mentality. Why can't they be allowed to color as long as they stay in the lines?

</sarcasm>

For the love of the game.

Professional sports will always represent what America is all about: Marketing.
