This would actually make the problem worse. The bus stops are currently selected so that the kids have to walk the least distance to them on average.

If you move the stops kids have to walk farther. Now a bus stop is a safe place for kids becasue there are many other kids there. Kids often walk to the stops alone and are vulnerable then. This is actually increacing the amount of time that kids are vulnerable to pedophiles.

In other news the main occupations for residents of Broward County, FLA are ice cream truck driver and lollypop salesman.

If the state feels that these people are dangerous, why do they put them back on the street? The whole concept of a "sex offender registry" is silly; aren't criminal records public? (and if not, why not?) Why don't they have a "murderer registry" or "aggrivated assault registry" too?

Public urination? Damn! A few years ago, I lived in a town home, next to these red necks from hell, who would piss off of our shared front porch at 3 am. I never called the police, because at 3 am, I'm too friggin' tired. Had I known they could have been forced to register, you bet your sweet bippy I would have called the police! I sersiously HATED these neighbors. That, and their friggin' panel work van, held together with duct tape, that would practicalle asphyxiate me each morning, while they gunned the shiot out of it to get it started.

This is possibly the dumbest thing I've heard in weeks. The children won't be moving their homes, just the bus stops. So there's a pedo living near your child's bus stop. So instead of having all the kids gathered together at the same place and time near the pedo's house, they move the bus stop farther away from his house (and probably further away from your house). So now your kid has to walk by themselves a longer distance from the stop to his/her house, and walk by themselves by the pedo's house instead of being in a group. And this is supposed to make them safer?

not all pedos ahve actually molested or touched children.
