I'm a little suprised something like this hasn't actually happened. Just press a switch and "whoopsie!".

Q: What do the post office and Kenny shoes have in common?

A: 1000's of loafers.

Unemployed people are more productive than 99% of government workers.

Kinda dumb, if you ask me. Of course, no one was asking. Dickish, how I stated my opinion anyway, eh?

Harmonia will eat this up
Goatman will need the explanation that this is satire
Yet they will still find time to flame

Before any republicans get their panties in a twist, I'd just like to point out that this is mocking our media and its penchant for grandiose claims than its indicting Bush.

Great concept, good first paragraph, dragged from there. I give it 2 1/2 farkdoodles.

Hi sweater girl!

How are you this stormy morning?

If you live in Lebanon it might be wise to get some insurance:

Here we go again!

Bloody html

SweaterGirl: Good to see you're still alive. Perhaps you were the one who thought I was an idiot for posting "I reckon they made this up" in response to the Onion article about a judge ordering God to split into several minor deities.

It's good to see I occupy such a large amount of your thoughts - you'll get used to it. Just don't kill yourself when I don't sleep with you - I can't be arsed with another suicide on my conscience.

I was the first person to vote on the new poll.

I feel special.

P.S. I wonder when someone'll submit the poll as a link?

Well, this one is better than the mass of drivel that has poured out of BBspot in the past month or so... but this line: "who will no longer be categorized in government statistics as unemployed but unemployable" still strikes me as unacceptably lame.
2002-02-01 08:56:57 AM
I knew it was only a matter of time when those hobos rode the Orange Blossom Special into the Empire State Building on Jan 11th.
2002-02-01 10:12:27 AM
or, as tardboy would say... undisemployablement office.
2002-02-01 10:32:52 AM
Pretty close to the truth.

Bush doesn't care about the unemployed, he just wants his missile defense system built.

Terrific piece of satire.

Harmonica, please stop wasting your time posting links to as most merkins are wise to this site ... "bloody," it is!

Warren, Ananova is the site of the Associated press.

Still if you see that as commie propaganda there is little I can do to help.

Warrens commie sites:

The Guardian
The Independent
The Associated press
right wing news
The New York Times

have a good Friday anyway m8.

Harmonica, you "hit the nail right on the head."

Thanks ... I will ... cheers.
2002-02-01 11:03:39 AM
BTW, Harmonica, here's a piece tailor-made just for you. It's short and sweet -- relatively so when compared to your posted articles.

Link for Harmonica ONLY

Sorry Warren, same old same old I'm afraid.

I dont know about the States but at Genoa we had a pretty good cross section of society, Farmers, teachers, workers (of which I am one)

As for rejecting western culture, I'm afraid thats a red herring. From that argument no-one could ever protest against anything.
2002-02-01 11:10:16 AM
Yeah, like he's the only one that's going to click on the link.

This peice is funny, because it not only makes fun of the way Dubya talks of the 'war on terror' but also the way some news perots are made.

But the Republican hordes will get here soon and flame it.

America needs a good civil war to liven things up. Liberals vs Conservatives. Hippies vs Angry White guys in short sleeved business shirts. Then put it on pay per view.
2002-02-01 11:27:36 AM
Nothing would be more American that putting it on pay per view, Half Tard :)
2002-02-01 11:33:46 AM
I put my money on the hippies. The angry white guys would have heart attacks before they could fight.
2002-02-01 11:35:49 AM
LOL. Good job, briggsb! :)

The Dark One

Looking into Harmonica's personal links, eh, The Dark One?

Trouble is, I doubt that even Harmonica read the entire piece nevermind digest it's essential message ... ironic.

No that is something very different!
