As one would say in accountant-speak, it all adds up.

HAHA! It's comedy gold I tells ya!

Andersen is the one that "certified" the accounts and let Enron get away with their "cooked books". Look at all the crocidile tears the politicos put on for the screwed public.
Fark em all.

Fark em all except Grivas. He is the true in all of this.

This thing is far from over, and Andersen will not be the only casualty methinks. It at least makes me feel better that after I get canned, economics students will still talk about this shiat for years.

Its sad when a site uses slashdot's code, and manages to produce worse content. I just read through 10 of their articles, and all had slants to them. Anti-yellow journalism my ass.

Is this a lensflare I see before me,
The cursor toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.
I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
Art thou not, adobe vision, photoshop
To feeling as to sight, or art thou but
A lensflare of the mind, a false creation,
Proceeding from the heat-opprèssed brain?"

Oh, yeah, "we'll" learn a lesson from this - just like we did from the savings & loan giveaway. Those whacky republicans. That whacky bush family. Always taking our money. Hilarious.

Maybe its just a coincidence.

I thought it was a fairly factual article. I noticed they didn't mention that the death was ruled a suicide on the spot, and they seemed to be a bit anti-republican, but that's better than CNN's whitehouse asskissing version.

Interesting article here about Lay being poor:

http://www.theinquirer.org/30010213.htm

"THE LAY FAMILY is boracic*, Mrs Linda Lay was reported as saying in our Guardian broadsheet yesterday.
But Mrs Lay, who was obviously distraught when she talked to NBC in an interview on the Today programme, appears to think all hubby's wealth lay in Enron shares, which certainly isn't the case.

Because, as we reported here on the 1st of January, Mr Lay sold off just one third of his shares in Compaq, of which he was formerly a director, netting himself 124,000 times $9.25.

Then there's that estimated $101 million that Mr Lay received in sales of Enron shares up to November last year."

Let's see if Congress politically rapes Dubya, like they did with the Clintons. Just what our Country needs...another political witch hunt!

I CANNOT FUKCING BELIEVE THAT AMERICA IS GOING TO STAND BY AND NOT PUSH CONGRESS TO PASS SOME SORT OF CAMPAIGN DONATION POLICY REFORM!

After all that's happened, and everything else that illegally (or sometimes just simply immorally) is allowed by our government - due to "campaign contributions" - I'd think that it's high-time America opened their eyes to the corruption of our government.

I'm fukcing sick of it! I'm tired of feeling helpless against corrupt politicians and big business's "lobbying" of those politicians. I'm tired of not having a certain level of integrity in politics. I'm tired of thinking that I'm the only one that can see how wrong it is for Big Business to buy our elected representatives votes (whether or not that bought vote would reflect what the people want) for their own uses.

Fukc it. I'm sure to end up running for some sort of office now.
