PBDE? Hell, in my youth, our mom's were loaded with Strontium 90 from nuclear weapons testing and PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon). So what a few chemicals? it's good for industry and the economy...didn't you listen to President Bunnypants tonight?

Because, you know, you accidently get a girl close to a fire and BAM! She explodes like the goddamn Death Star, flaming pieces of mammaries everywhere.

For the good of the entire USA (mom and apple pie), I will make the ultimate sacrifice and volunteer to suck out all this poison. Yummmm!

One form of the chemical will be banned next year in Europe, where the law requires proof of safety before a new agent can be used in the environment. U.S. law requires proof of harm or risk before a chemical is banned.

Which method is better? Prevention, or banned-aids after the fact? You decide.

Sooner or later we will wipe the human race out. Hopefully after they find a cure for the hangover.

Fix it after the fact. That is the American way.

A chemical flame retardant commonly used in foam furniture padding is accumulating so rapidly in the breast milk of nursing mothers that environmentalists and some scientists are calling for a ban on it.

They're going to ban breast milk?!!?

What is the world coming to?

given america's track record a "proof of safety" law would probably keep tight fitting underwear off store shelves.

Let's see, my house safer or worry about breast milk and people who over-consume stream fish. Hmmm tough choice.

Heres a solution-quit breeding.

(dons flame proof suit)

I'm all for the quit breeding thing, as long as I can still practice.

Don't ban PCBEs! I want my children to be flame-retardant mutants. Then, when the "normal" people try to take the mutants away, all mutants will band together and destroy humankind and I will be their leader. Don't expect any mercy in the Great Mutant War, all of you naysayers! The seas will run red with the blood of my enemies!

I should stop watching Sealab 2021. Wait, no I shouldn't...

HalfAssed Monkey Boy...You are welcome. By the way: I don't do monkeys (HIV transmission possible - originated in Monkey Boys who gave this to Monkey girls, virus can be mixed in with PDBE's)

As someone who works in customer service (tech support, pity me), I say this needs the [image from too old to be available] tag.
