They need to bring back the Tom Green show. The best was the last season when everyone who he was pulling pranks on new who he was. The unintentional comedy scale was great. Nothing better than awkard moments on TV.

The show is both a ratings and critical smash. Not since the heyday of South Park has Comedy Central been able to generate this buzz.

Good for Dave for cashing in on his project, much deserved.

How can you not like The Mad Real World, Dude's Night Out, I'm Wayne Brady, Knee High Park, and all of the other classics.

If this show has staying power, it will equal Monty Python's Holy Grail at the top of the sketch comedy mountain.

Ugh, South Park needs to end. Its political commentary has gotten tiring and the comedy just isn't there anymore. Most everything pre-sixth season is awesome, though.

Those of you who are saying that Chappelle is NOT funny should really check him out at a comedy club if you have a chance to see his standup act. I saw him do his thing a few months ago, and the crowd was drunk, restless, and would NOT stop yelling things at Chappelle ("I'm Rick James, biatch!") the entire night. Not only did Chappelle roll with the punches, but *no one* was able to get him off his game. He is a VERY talented improv comedian.

The Chapelle Show is damn funny. To all you saying otherwise, turn the channel, stop posting, and shut up. The man has one of the funniest shows on TV right now and it beats the HELL out of any reality TV.

I would just like to say that my opinion regarding various comedy shows and the pay scale of their hosts is, in fact, entirely objective and factual. If I say that something is not funny, then it is, in fact, NOT FUNNY; and if I say that something IS funny, then by God it is verifiably, objectively funny. Anyone who disagrees is a moron.

I am calling BS on $50 mill. There is no friggin way that Comedy Central would pay that much. This smacks of a Larry King type publicity stunt.

/for those who do not remember, a couple of years ago Larry King or his agent leaked that he had signed a new deal with CNN which made him the highest paid person in TV news. The deal supposedly had all kinds of perks like use of Time Warner company planes. The figure was huge and more than Katy Curic made which was odd considering that King was (and is) being destroyed in the ratings. Well the press eventually found out that that was not the deal and that King or his people leaked the supposed deal to try and make King seem like a swingin dick in news.

He's probably funnier than I give him credit for (I can't stand the show) but people who are saying he's the biggest comic since Jesus need to wake up. He'll be a has-been in about 3 years.
