I think they need to find the country where skeletons are an oppressed minority -- if skeletons would try to escape their homeland on homemade rafts, then their country probably needs UN peacekeepers and an IMF donation! Skeletons should be able to live in peaceful harmony with their oppressors, instead of trying to escape to a better life across the sea.

Sooo.... they had to ask the U.S. for help identifying where these skeletons came from? Isn't that sort of answered in the fifth paragraph?

Mr Chotailug said an identity card was found in a wallet on one of the rafts. It belonged to an Indonesian man from Bitung in Sulawesi...
