Time to ban the bible.

Those wacky flat-earthers. What will they come up with next?

Paragraph on top of their page states :

"Please do not send us feedback to tell us that the Earth is a sphere; we are already aware of this fact."

then about 3/4 way down it says

"We PROVE earth Flat by experiment, demonstrated and demonstrable. Earth Flat is a Fact, not a 'theory'!"

They're loony, i rest my case.

Did anybody succeed Charles when he died? I've been watching this guy for years. Ivan Stang started writing about him back in the 80's.

They should print some unverifiable anti-American 'news' articles. That would make them more credible, in the eyes of some.

Reno77, read the whoe article, not just two random lines. Sigh....

It might be funny if these people were for real, but clearly this isn't the case..

Send 'em on a one-way trip into space and let 'em see first-hand if the earth is flat.

People who have nothing better to do . . .

Seems like something from TimeCube.com. At the very least they are all fruitcakes.

"Actually, it's shaped like a burrito..."

Mikey B, the link isn't to the FES's page. It's just ABOUT the FES.

This is a Christian site responding to the beliefs of the flat earth society.

Even in medieval times Christians didn't think the Earth was flat (no matter what Loony Toons cartoons tell you). The bible says that the earth was an orb, and it was accepted. But, since Newton had not yet formed the idea of gravity, they thought that they were living on a tangent, meaning if they walked too far they would start to leave the ground, and eventually walk into space.

If you think that was bad, read this link I found on the Flat Earth Society's page.

Darn ABC manipulating the cosmological constants. . . .

"FELFAT however, holds the position that the Earth was formerly, and is naturally, entirely FLAT"

uhh.......

This site is a joke, really. These people are not really serious.. who in their right (or even wrong) minds would think the earth's shape was changed by television broadcasters?

That's a dead giveaway.

These guys gotta be yanking our leg:

http://www.flat-earth.org/society/about.mhtml

While the Society is not a "crackpot" group, it is opposed to the fashionable, politically correct Spherical Earth theory, which is expounded every day by so-called "scientists", the media and political leaders. The Society asserts that the Earth is flat and has five sides, that all places in the Universe named Springfield are merely links in higher-dimensional space to one place, and that all assertions are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true false and meaningless in some sense.
