(I-Mockery)   Spider-Man wasn't always a superhero. At least, not in Turkey   ( divider line

Turns out they were just jealous of the size of his shwantz.

I think I speak for what 99% of this thread will be about when I say: I-Mockery is too damned slow.
2004-06-30 02:36:43 PM
I'm confused...was I supposed to get something out of that?
2004-06-30 02:38:33 PM
This is a funnier review of a Turkish movie
2004-06-30 02:38:58 PM
I want that video. I need that video. I will have that video. Too farking funny.
2004-06-30 02:39:56 PM
I have a copy of 3 Dev Adam on tape. Most unintentionally hilarious movie of all time. Evil psychopath Spiderman (with appropriate Snidley Whiplash-esque mustache and evil cackle) is a sight to behold. Espcially when he's fighting Captain America and Santo the wrestler at the same time. And everyone is wearing 70's Eastern European fashions.
2004-06-30 02:40:58 PM
Looks more like Spaderman to me.
2004-06-30 02:42:55 PM
PSA: Spiderman 2 is brilliant. Leave work/school/secret underground bunker and see it now!
2004-06-30 02:46:10 PM
Anyone know where I can get a copy of this?!?! I MUST have it.

Also, going to see Spiderman 2 in 3 hours and I can hardly wait. I'm such a dork.
2004-06-30 02:48:53 PM
Sorry, by the time I got to page two, I was laughing so hard I had to stop reading...
2004-06-30 02:49:37 PM
I really enjoyed the Turkish Star Trek. They stole their sound effects from the beginning of the Ran-Dells' "Martian Hop".

Wouldn't mind seeing this one.
2004-06-30 02:52:14 PM
I have laughed out-loud to this I-Mockery article so many times I've had to shut the door to my office. Farking hilarous.
2004-06-30 02:54:11 PM
Wow, what a movie. This thing looks better than DareDevil vs The Hulk in the late 80s (anyone remember that?)

/believe it or not, I'm walking on air, I never thought I could so free-ee-ee

rotflmdfao. bbq, bbq, bbfq!

That last comic- with the words missing. Should be a photoshop contest, er sumfin.

Guinea Pig Doom!! /new fark cliche
2004-06-30 03:00:20 PM
Anyone else see the horrible Turkish ripoff of Star Wars?

Nobody makes a suck movie like the Turks.

After seeing the flashing graphic from that page, all I can think of is:
"Wanna a Fanta, don't chu wanna..."

I received my copy as a birthday present some time ago. Someone always seems to be selling copies (bootlegs) at sci-fi conventions.
2004-06-30 03:01:34 PM

Dear God,

Please let me find a way to work this into normal conversation and have it make sense without me having to be gay.

Thanks God,

Guinea Pig Doom and "Look at these puppets while Spidey and Turkish MJ do the Nasty"?
I am officially scared of the Turks.
2004-06-30 03:10:28 PM
Ah, but the big question is, who would win in a fight: Turkish Spiderman or Indian Superman?
2004-06-30 03:17:26 PM
Spider-Man was a hero in Constantinople.
2004-06-30 03:30:13 PM
I have a copy of Indian Superman, now I must find a copy of this.
2004-06-30 03:48:00 PM
Guinea-pig doom and a cold glass of milk, part of this complete breakfast.
2004-06-30 03:49:11 PM
There is a province/state/section of Turkey named "Batman". I guess he gets more respect over there.
2004-06-30 03:53:18 PM
So, not only are there knock-off Spiderman toys but there is a knock-off Spiderman movie, too.
2004-06-30 04:14:06 PM
Of course Spiderman had to have the "Ataturk Eyebrows". When I lived in Turkey every male turk was trying to twist and arch the eyebrows so it looked like Ataturk (who is like their George Washington, Abraham Lincon, and FDR combined)
2004-06-30 04:20:30 PM
So we've seen knock-off Spiderman toys, weeners, and a movie. The trifecta is complete.
2004-06-30 04:25:35 PM
"I ... whacked his crotch ... stick, it ... explode ... goodies ... all over the floor."
2004-06-30 05:05:04 PM
My wife just came into the room to see if I was ok because I was laughing so hard.
2004-06-30 05:10:48 PM
Thanks guys, glad ya dig the article so far. Good to see that the mirror site link got accepted rather than the .com one, because that would've gotten farked in less than a minute if it had haha.

Anyway, here's to hoping that Spider-Man 2 will be more entertaining than 3 Dev Adam. I dunno though, I highly doubt we'll see Tobey handling any guinea pigs in Spider-Man 2.
2004-06-30 05:52:10 PM
Dear sweet mother of god. That's better (as in worse) than the bollywood movies my wife watches every Sunday.

Too damned funny.

I bet he wishes he got to handle Kirsten's "guinea pigs". Sqweeek sqweeek!
2004-06-30 08:19:23 PM
Just saw the movie and it was good.
2004-06-30 08:48:27 PM
I foresee a new Fark cliche in the "Classy" gif.
2004-06-30 10:19:40 PM
I dunno, this looks hella better than stuff like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or Van Helsing.
2004-07-01 12:21:27 AM
Oh man, that whole thing with Santo had me cracking up. I can hardly breathe. Jesus.

2004-07-01 04:12:04 AM
Those guinea pigs can strip a proletariat child to the bones in minutes.
2004-07-01 05:52:22 AM
You bastards! You're going to get me fired! I'm laughing so hard I'm disrupting the office. That classy gif is bringing actual tears to my eyes.
