I'm sorry, but these things are freaking hilarious. Robert Cop, even though I knew what to expect, made me laugh. Hard.

I have a seperate collection of knock-off robots to complement my main Japanese Robot collection. This stuff is comedy gold! Nice to know there are others that enjoy the Island of Misfit Crap as much as I do.

"Spider Hero" with one leg longer than the other. Classic stuff. Like Spiderman's physically challenged brother.

And the Bart Simpson doll that says "Fark you!" Comic gold. Check out his ears sewn to his neck. Beautiful.

Gobots' Battle Of The Rocklords was on HBO last week or so. Very lame part of my childhood.

man, I bought a RobertCop on eBay a while ago and gave it to my best friend for Christmas. He in turn just about gave his pants a turd. To this day I rue giving him that toy, and soon I'll be living in a house with him, reminded of my erroneous generosity daily.

I've actually gone to electronics shows in Indiana and seen a whole boatload of Panasony equipment. There was even more car audio stuff like that but can't really remember much because its been so long ago.

Did anyone click on the Pokemon link? There's a bullshiat cease & desist letter from Nintendo telling him that he's violating Nintendo's copyright by posting pictures of the bootleg toys. Check this out:

Reminds me back in Desert Storm in Saudi they had all these bootleg tapes with misspellings on the labels like "Lesson to your heart" by Roxette and a song by Gordon Lightfood

2004-06-27 10:43:13 PM
I used to have a bootleg Pokemon figure that was named only "Walking of Fairy." Wish I had a scan I could post, just to stick it to the Nintendo Man.

I bounced in here thinking that this thread would have some lighthearted but not-that-funny geek humor about toys that are "factually inaccurate". Because, you know, geeks laugh (or get wildly upset) about action hero dolls that don't look like the actors, or things like that. Another X-Entertainment style feature.

Well, I must say I was wrong. RobertCop and Star Knight are in another universe of funny. And don't forget the Ninja Turtles Gun.

Space Knight is not a bootleg, it is a true postmodern work of art.
