2002-01-18 01:54:49 PM
Check out "ass" in the 1920s. Apparently they all died out by the 90s.
2002-01-18 01:55:39 PM
I guess I don't really exist either.
2002-01-18 01:55:50 PM
Mines not there either, NO FAIR!
2002-01-18 01:56:56 PM
What's up with Oregon? Enter Smith, Jones, or Johnson and that state has the least of all them.

Great, another link to an old webiste on Fark. Next they'll be trotting out a link to "The Onion" like it's cutting edge. I don't wanna get off on a rant here, but lately there seems to be a dearth of new things on Fark and plenty of this old shiat from the Internet's infancy. Meanwhile real stories like the Oliver Stone "bin Laden Consipracy" go unmentioned. Furthermore, did I miss the link to the story about the FDNY memorial statue?

2002-01-18 01:57:00 PM
No Zschiesches in there.
2002-01-18 01:57:20 PM
i finally understand those people who say "hey, i submitted this link weeks ago and it didn't get posted? how did this get through?"

2002-01-18 01:57:48 PM

All that 1920's Ass is in New Jersey.
2002-01-18 01:59:44 PM
Go here to see proof that there are more Frigos in Illinois than anywhere else.ml

And yes, my HTML skills suck ass, but at least my last name isn't Frigo.
2002-01-18 01:59:55 PM
Huh. In my home state, my name's one in 10,000. Go figure.
2002-01-18 02:00:29 PM
Dicks everywhere. Obviously.
2002-01-18 02:00:43 PM
Idaho and Utah have more Balls than any other state. Except New York, but that's a given.
2002-01-18 02:01:16 PM
Typical, the worlds greatest last name, Bagaladeuchia, is not in there.

"Names Bagaladeuchia, Jim Bagaladeuchia."

2002-01-18 02:01:40 PM
Smith. Had to try Smith.

It confirmed what I already knew about my dad's side of the family. Started out in Deleware in the 1850's, then half of the family went to Nebraska and the other half went to California. What's intersting to me that there are enough of us to show up on the map...
2002-01-18 02:05:43 PM
gee mine is not there either, yaaaaaaaaawn

2002-01-18 02:06:12 PM
The Balls moved..
2002-01-18 02:06:36 PM
The last name "Jass", as in Hugh, is only common in Iowa. Must be a lot of Hugh Jasses in Iowa.

Plenty of Beer in the northern tier.

Doo dah, doo dah.

2002-01-18 02:10:23 PM
I knew it, the Clampetts never moved to Beverly Hills. They moved to New Jersey!!!
2002-01-18 02:10:23 PM
Obvious - Hernandez is all over the states - must move to Maine where they are only 1 in 10,000. We must not like the cold?
2002-01-18 02:11:16 PM
Hmmmm....there seem to be a few of us on the east coast...NY & NJ.....hmmmm.....I always knew I was a true east coaster.... But boy..... I got almost all dark blue, I guess my mom was right, I am special...

That Bolick thing is pretty funny.....sad, but funny....
2002-01-18 02:11:50 PM
Interesting to note that there seemed to be Trees only in Nevada. Yet there were a smattering of Oaks throughout the country, and a pretty large concetration of Maples in Middle America.
2002-01-18 02:12:15 PM
Evidently, all the "Whitey"'s died off between 1880 and 1920. And they lived in Connecticut!! Bwahahahaha!

I can't spell Bolick either.
2002-01-18 02:17:35 PM
Even if it was posted before, it's still pretty spiffy.

It confirms my theory that Nebraska is full of Czechs.

Try Swoboda, Cech, Cerny, Sedlacek, Jedlicka, Bohac, Horak, Prohaska, or any other fun Czeck names.

Believe it or not, "Mailman" is a last name. In Maine. So, is it "The Mailmans are coming for dinner" or "The Mailmen are coming for dinner"?

My last name is Christensen, which is not too common in New York, where I live.
No surprise about MN, but Utah is just filled with 'em.

How about Jack Chick's family name ... thought it was a fake name, didn't you?
2002-01-18 02:23:07 PM
Christ I have a generic name. I only had like one yellow, and that was Oregon. Everything else was orange...with the highest concentration in....drum roll please...North Dakota. How boring.

Frankenstein moved from California to South Dakota sometime between 1920 and 1990 -- the Monster is on the move!

I would think it would be "The Mailmans are coming to dinner."

Unless... you know... that was a rhetorical question...
