As ignorant and short-sighted as such an idea may be, I'm starting to hedge towards something to that affect.

Not talking emotional reaction here, and not talking about really dropping a-bombs.

But, come on. The middle east is farked beyond the simple "A hates B and we like B". Its seemingly random, and there are so many sides, all of them basically invalid in their claims.

There has to be a way to just "reboot" the area.

Maybe the Western world gets together and overthrows all of the governments, and puts one single middle eastern government in? Or something to that effect.

When you go into war, bad things happen. I thought you all would figure that out by now.

I am always amazed whenever someone displays such courageous bravado from a chair several thousand miles away from the fighting.
