The big weekend approaches, but...

Due to some last-minute family commitments this weekend, I've been *ahem* persuaded to pare back the plans for this weekend's NOLA Fark Party. So, we'll just be holding it on Friday night at Fahey's Irish Pub in the French Quarter (540 Burgundy, on the corner of Toulouse and Burgundy). The wife and I will be showing up about 7pm, and we'll be looking forward to meeting you after a great day at VoodooFest! EIP if you have any questions, comments, or questions about my mother's availability this weekend.

We plan on partying late enough to need some CdM before heading home. When do you think you might make it by?

Y'all have a blast. I'll be taking my son out for his first trick-or-treating, so I probably won't be making it to the Quarter. But, there are few things better than Halloween in the French Quarter.

Cool, looking at teh goggle earth that's damn near within walking distance of my office. Probably go home first and change into something less office-y though since I only live 10 minutes away w/no traffic.

Whatever...Fahy's is more of a neighborhood bar type of place, not really restaurant-y or clubby. Really laid back, good beer on tap, tucked back in a not-so-busy area...and it's CHEAP! Truly one of the hidden treasures in the Quarter.

Damn. I just noticed that. My wife and I are going to a party with her cowowrkers, and then I'm taking our son home so she can stay out with them. You think I could sneak a baby into a bar? He'll be dressed as a pirate. No one will notice...
