I've never been to plastic.com but I'm really tired of dumbass conservatives talking about how dumbass the liberals are.

I suspect most of the commenters thusfar have never even been to plastic. It's a lot like Fark. Users post news messages and then Users comment on them. Everyone aat Plastic has the ability to be a moderator, and you can filter out comments that are below your threshold. It was an awsome site, built on the slashdot model. It a little less technology oriented, and more political, but its certainly not run by liberals or any other political group. Just a place for lonley netheads to be lonly together.

Interesting coincidence: I began to troll Plastic.com like I do Slashdot and within a week, Plastic goes down. Now if only we could do the same with that turd of a website, Slashdot, everything would be peachy.

"Plastic Down" sure, I understand, artificial fluffy stuff. From there the drama gets murky.

I remember the site. I never could view it right using netscape on linux with my non-default font settings. The characters would overlap squished into cell too small that was specified by pixel count. I remember them as someone who tried to get fancy with html and ended up with a broken page.

Awww....my karma was well over 100 It hadn't changed in months, because there was no reason for me to contribute any more - it stopped being interesting after a couple months. I second the backwash.com option, if only because the 'Plasticians' were so pissy about a backwash press release which mentioned Plastic.
