They're Ass-Tastic!

baaadbart 2003-10-05 08:43:13 PM
umm..okay?

Hender [TotalFark] 2003-10-05 08:43:23 PM
This is a bad thing? How many people out there like Chicken McGristle over actual white meat?

Doak 2003-10-05 08:43:29 PM
Very assinine indeed.

wait..........

Very bad usage of assinine tag indeed.

Father_Jack 2003-10-05 08:44:39 PM
wow they're actually going to put MEAT in the chicken nugget?

Whats wrong with skin gristle and leftover "poultry product"? Drown that shiat in enough bbq sauce and msg and fry the buhjeezus out of it, it'll be fine!

putting actual meat in mcdonalds food... thats simply unamerican.

Ronald_Jeremy 2003-10-05 08:44:52 PM
Oh, I was so hoping they would introduce the Veggie Burger. :(

/sarcasm

farking health nuts piss me off. Can't get good popcorn at the movies anymore. Gotta eat the healthy shiat.

Magic 2003-10-05 08:45:06 PM
Yeah, then they're probably gonna introduce tofu-burgers so that they don't get sued by Ms. Fatty McFat because she can't control her eating habits.

fleener 2003-10-05 08:45:31 PM
What a dumb marketing move. People who want to live past their fifties don't eat at McDonalds and thus don't care what color the McMeat is today.

Father_Jack 2003-10-05 08:45:34 PM
Ronald Jeremy

uh...they have a veggie burger.

SpinStopper [TotalFark] 2003-10-05 08:46:04 PM
What you said, Father_Jack. :)

They do? Never seen it

Burger King does around here, but no McDonalds seem to.

I can't think of anyone I know who eats at McDonald's.

"William Mikel, a University of Kentucky professor and specialist in meat processing and product development, wonders if consumers will reject the new McNuggets the way they rejected Coca Cola's New Coke in the mid-1980s."

This professor has had his 15 minutes of fame.

Imagine that a Professor of Meat Processing with a minor in potato peeling.

nelziq 2003-10-05 08:50:10 PM
Doesnt matter. All the flavor comes from the crispy batter type stuff and the dipping sauce.. Mmmmmm Hot Mustard and Sweet & Sour.... Mmmmm

demonweasel 2003-10-05 08:50:26 PM

I remember them from Germany, i know 100% they have them there, they're called the "Gemusemac", or "vegetable-mac".

I dont eat mcdonalds in the states, but i did from time to time in germany (since its the only thing open late at night after a bender in the pubs). Thus, i dont know if they ever released or widely released it in the USA.

spose i could check the website...

wedgius 2003-10-05 08:53:09 PM
Less flavor is better than tasting like shiat, no?

El_Presdente 2003-10-05 08:53:10 PM
I always thought Wendy's nuggets were white meat. They taste better but for the real greaseball fast-food flavor you can't go wrong with McD's.

osiris679 2003-10-05 08:53:37 PM
I HATE McDonalds!

Ok, so I am going through the drive-thru today...and wait, what is that? You don't take credit cards through drive-thru? GET WITH THE TIMES!

So I have to get out of my car and wait in line for like 10 minutes while smelly kids are crying and spilling ketchup all over the floor. Finally I get to the front and reorder my food. Oh I AM SORRY, move to the side and let other people order their food while we fix our Credit Card swiper....5 minutes later I finally get to swipe the card...and what is this? A $1.75 charge just to use the a farkin debit card? The fries were cold and the burger tasted like crap.

Eat at In and Out or Fatburger.

ECS 2003-10-05 08:53:39 PM
I eat fat out of I bucket with a ladel. Literally. This story infuriates me!

Argh_Dammit [recently expired TotalFark] 2003-10-05 08:54:24 PM
oh good - glad to see mcdonalds taking the high road health-wise. I am sure they will become the leaders in high fiber, nutritional and vital foods.

/anybody that eats there deserves to be removed from the food chain

McDonald's indeed does have one, but I've never seen anyone eating it. It may have something to do with the fact that a friend of mine who tried it once told me it tasted like @ss.

Which only goes to show: Even if they partner with Yves (who make pretty good veggie products), Raunchy Ron can still fark everything up.

enigmatic2 2003-10-05 08:55:08 PM
hmmm....fries...hmmm...

Blubble 2003-10-05 08:56:16 PM

In and Out - Yes!!!

dimitri_mediev 2003-10-05 08:56:47 PM
coming from a seasoned professional who was a hanburger engineer at McDonalds for 2 and a half years i can honestly say, McDonalds blows goat nuts.

farking_texan 2003-10-05 08:57:00 PM
I'm sure the McNuggets will still taste like cardboard, anyway. That's what the sauce is for.

dimitri_mediev 2003-10-05 08:57:51 PM
and then serves them in their chicken nuggets

three/four-letter-expletive 2003-10-05 08:58:20 PM
Yeah keep eating your fat food, fatties.
But it's sooooooooooooooo good! But I can't eat it cause then I'll get fat... but it's soooooo good!

Fark Me To Tears [TotalFark] 2003-10-05 08:58:26 PM
Less flavor?

For a McNugget? Is that even possible?

lstramer 2003-10-05 08:58:54 PM
All this talk is making me hungry. Too bad there isn't a McDonalds close by....

To elaborate, I mentioned In and Out burgers because I miss California. Been stuck in the waste that is called Texas for too long now.

Number41 2003-10-05 09:00:52 PM
Our McDonald's had the all white meat nuggets this summer...they still taste like shiat.

dimitri_mediev 2003-10-05 09:02:07 PM
as did our mcdonalds

That's odd - i dont go there that often but i'm sure i've never seen one there (and I've definitely looked)

I'd have thought that the SF bay area would be one of the best markets to sell them in, but maybe I haven't been in enough to find one that sells them.

The BK ones aren't bad. They taste like gardenburgers.

QuakeTree 2003-10-05 09:03:23 PM
I for one welcome our new Chicken McNugget overlords.

/waaay overdone joke

Scrawny Pale Guy 2003-10-05 09:03:59 PM
Didn't they just introduce new nuggets recently?

osiris679 2003-10-05 09:04:05 PM
Spinstopper: My friend lives in Texas and craves for In and Out all the time. My fav. is animal style! :)

SpinStopper

What do you think made me think of that? Mmmmmmm, dinner...

8floz 2003-10-05 09:05:17 PM
it's so pathetic that, after 40 or so years, they're using semi-real food in their products..actually, have they EVER used real meat? i can't eat fast food for shiat anymore. this world is so artificial. shoot me now. (i'll probably end up as soylent green, but what the hell)..

"may i have a drink of your tasty beverage to wash this down"

Maddogjew [TotalFark] 2003-10-05 09:07:41 PM
Feh, that's some nasty crap! Who eat's at Mcd's anyway?

theotherbilly 2003-10-05 09:09:00 PM
Forget about the food at McDonald's, have you seen some of the people working there...

*Shudders*

ator1 2003-10-05 09:09:30 PM
I just got done eating a McDonald's double cheeseburger. They're not that bad but they do make me fart like a bastard for a few hours. What's nasty is the Big Mac and it's 'secret sauce' DAMN that sauce is disgusting. BTW, if you're feeling adventurous, try a Wendy's triple. I've yet to be able to finish one of those bad boys. Not nasty, just too friggin' much meat.

I feel a Burt coming on.... buuuurrRRT. Aaaahhhhhhh

hdhale 2003-10-05 09:09:31 PM
I'm sure they'll taste just fine...what won't be fine is what they are likely to jack the price up to now that they are using better ingredients....
