Golden Retrievers seem to abide by the half second rule. If you drop something they must eat it in under a half a second. My boy Duke ate a piece of broccoli last night. If you try to feed it to him he won't take it. If you drop it he eats first asks questions later. I've only ever seen him spit out 1 thing and that was a raw onion.
