I'm really leaning towards your perspective. Besides, it's an obvious example of bias against transvestites, tattooed-Americans, and successful black athletes. Hey, when I was a child, we had posters of OJ up on the wall during Black History month. Granted, that was prior to his Bronco chase. Back then, he as just a retired football player turned actor.

Then again, I was a kid that was kicked off the Black History bowl team for being too smart.
