I have a funny story to go with this.
My 9-yr-old was watching LOTR over Christmas break (big orc battle) and my dad came in and said "Do you think Captain Kirk can beam in and save them?"
Cole: "What? No!"
My Dad: "How about Spock"
Cole (irritated): "There is no Kirk or Spock"
My Dad: "Isn't this Star Wars?"
Cole: "NO!!! This...this... NO!"(cue head explosion)

He had to be reassured that Grandpa was joking. Kids are so dramatic. On the plus side, I have raised some grade A nerd children.
