In The Indiana Harbor section of East Chicago, IN, there were several places that I've heard of that had tacos that were made from alley cat meat. I heard they actually got busted. Supposedly it was highly tasty. Probably just an urban legend, though. I didn't see it on Snopes, However.

There's a great Mexican place called El Rodeo near my house. Excellent food, but a color scheme like a Chuck E. Cheese or a Tim Burton movie. You can tell the food's good because all the staff are illegal or semi-legal immigrants.
