Actually, it is legal in the US. So long as it doesn't involve interstate commerce. Gotta love that interstate commece clause. Now state/county/city law is another story. It's got to be in a state where it's legal, a county where it's legal, and a municipality where it's legal.

Look at how much its hurt Nevada. But then again, machine guns and explosives are legal in Nevada. Maybe it works best in the middle of nowhere. Even in Nevada its not legal anywhere near the big cities (ie Vegas and umm... Well, Renos not that big.)
