I'm with Cameron on this. What kind of "fan" just happens to be at the airport with a poster of the movie and a Sharpie?

The kind that becomes someone's official stalker.

I think if I was a celebrity the only person I would give autographs too would be little kids. If you are old enough to have tattoos you don't need a damn autograph.

I'm sure it gets old after a while always having someone in your face.

Professional autograph seekers... and one that just happens to have a TMZ camera nearby. Many celebs won't sign things like this because it goes straight to ebay.

Yes, when I am famous and hounded by autograph seekers, my policy will be to only offer personalized autographs, to minimize resale value.

my husband is semi-famous. farkers will follow him into the bathroom to ask for an autograph, or call our hotel rooms when we are on tour. We now register everywhere under my name (I use my maiden name). It is really rude to interrupt people on their private time to ask for an autograph. The worst are the ones with 10 of THE SAME THING to sign. If you say no to them they go on the intertubes and rant about what a prick you are

tried this. They still try to sell them.

People send their kids to get it then then sell them.

Buy a self-inking signature stamp, but write the original signature with your non-dominant hand.

I've watched TMZ (I AM NOT ASHAMED TO ADMIT THIS) and I think they keep someone at LAX constantly. They're always ambushing somebody coming or going.

Now we need to figure out who missmarsha's husband is. And ask her for autographs!!

George is also a dick. I saw him the other day in Toronto with a gaggle of biatches at the biggest douche hangout (Gladstone) acting like he was hot shiat and cutting the line. We'd never let him cut at the Mansion.

C'mon, if this idiot had known that Cameron divorces and marries women at about the same rate that Michael Jackson got noses, he'd have already known that James Cameron was something of an ass and saved himself the time and money by not going up and asking the tool for his autograph in the first place.

/Guy was likely trying to get Cameron at a bad moment when he was tired and cranky after a long flight in from Lord only knows where and knew this was his golden chance.

May I please suggest a lawsuit?

I've always had this plan to move to LA and start stalking people from TMZ and all the other paparazzi. Doing it 24/7/365....following them around, hounding them, getting in there way...all of it. Just to see how they react.

/If I was famous I like to think I'd appreciate every single person who wanted an autograph, even if they were just looking to sell it.
//I'm a realist though, so I know I'd probably get just as mad as the rest of them.

This whole phenomenon must be something purely Canadian. I had to do a Wikipedia search on all of the above to even find out who they were.

They do it all the time. Lots of times it's the paps trying to piss the celeb off, then record what they do. See "Woody Harrelson." He REALLY hates TMZ, and with good reason.

Add me to the list of people who just don't get autographs. If I met someone famous I respected, I may shake their hand ans say thanks. But having them scribble on something just has no appeal to me.

I get that people would pay money for something said famous person has scribbled on, I just don't get why.
