I misread that as "Santa Clause" and was very confused, although I do like my version of reality better.

benlonghair: better than 30,000lbs of bananas.

Oh come on now, that isn't possible. Nothing can better than a truck with 30,000lbs of bananas heading down the hill that leads into Scranton, PA.

dryknife 2009-12-01 02:58:50 PM
I misread that as pomeranians.

I too read that as Santa Claus and was wondering why a small town in Indiana would have a metric assload of pomegranates anywhere within a thousand miles or so.

MONSTERTRUCK [TotalFark] 2009-12-01 02:59:56 PM
I'm addicted to pomography

DrZiffle 2009-12-01 03:00:17 PM
Lucky roadway--lots of anti-oxidants in pomegranates.

old_toole [TotalFark] 2009-12-01 03:00:51 PM
Never mind that
There are some scary and HOT tattooed biatches at the bottom of that page
Woof !!!!

zarberg 2009-12-01 03:01:17 PM
You'd think 40,000 lbs of pomegranates would provide better seed for puns.

maxwellhauser [TotalFark] 2009-12-01 03:01:26 PM
Pomegranite flows red on the highway!

A bunch of my coworkers were late because of this so I had to hear a bunch of pomegranate jokes for 2 hours. Awesome.

Totally read that as pornography.

SO, 40,000 lbs of Santa Clause, Pomeranians, and pornography...where can it go from here?

Dances-With-Lobster 2009-12-01 03:07:19 PM
I have a tonic of pomegranate and lead!

palelizard 2009-12-01 03:08:18 PM
Santa Clarita always was a seedy place.

KentuckyBob 2009-12-01 03:08:39 PM
I had not heard of this damn fruit prior to '08. Hippies, they'll eat anything.

lizardinmycoffee [TotalFark] 2009-12-01 03:09:00 PM
I live/work in Santa Clarita and I missed the pomegranaty goodness?!?!

Sad times :(

litespeed74 2009-12-01 03:09:56 PM
It's all good. They have a pretty hard shell and maybe after a good bouncing along the road the seeds will already be loosened up.
mmm pom

Fabric_Man 2009-12-01 03:10:04 PM
Subby is a filthy commie! Here in America we use Imperial assloads!

You mean 08, right? Like 8 AD?

I came in here to make the point that anybody sufficiently versed in Greek mythology will see this as incontrovertible proof that Global Warming is a lie. All those uncovered emails about how they were bending the facts to suit their agenda and make themselves seem necessary were merely icing on the cake.

I think the first time I had a pom was in '90 maybe, or earlier. I was in school, it was part of a foods from around the world thing.

The_Sponge [TotalFark] 2009-12-01 03:10:53 PM
I once saw ton of tortilla chips spilled all over I-5 in Southern Oregon.

Unfortunately, the salsa, nacho cheese, or guacamole trucks never showed up. :-(

Yeah, I work up in the north end of SCV and was wondering why the southbound 5 was so packed up this morning. Now we know!

BlorfMaster 2009-12-01 03:14:24 PM
I bought a single pomegranate last night from walmart for $1.88. So..that's a pretty darn expensive fruit spill right there.

/still trying to invent a pomegranate seed-straw-vaccuum
