Congratulations, Detroit. you're no longer the worst team in the NFL.

There were all sorts of Brownies getting hurt Sunday, was this the only serious injury?

/It is fun watching Rogers 'run' on and off the field
//Thought maybe some of the Browns just wanted to get into the lockeroom early

That dude can block kicks like nobody else though.

Well, I guess, he can't now...

Oh well.

LOL Cleveland.

If Lebron doesn't win a NBA Championship with the Cavs, he take the year off and play football for the Browns.

Do not underestimate the power of the Cleveland Sports CurseTM!

If you played for the Browns, you'd probably be grabbing any excuse to get off the field too.

You know your team really sucks when a severely underachieving cast-off from Detroit is the cause for concern for your defense when he goes out with injury.

Cleveland Sports Fan:

Browns, Cavs, Indians win three in a row:
"Cleveland rocks, Super Bowl, NBA World Champs, LBJ would NEVER leave his hometown, World Series Champs, WOOO-HOOO!!!"

Browns, Cavs, Indians lose three in a row:
"We are jinxed. Lebron is gone. We need to trade for an athletic big man (?) Indians are breaking my heart again. ALL of our owners suck!"

Rinse.

Repeat. Ad nauseum.

Where have you been? That was made official last Sunday: Lions 38, Browns 37.

Subby fails. With or without Rogers the Browns had little chance of winning anymore games this season. So, they really aren't getting any worse. A loss is a loss whether it's by one point or or one hundred points.

Pvt Joker 2009-12-01 02:11:05 PM
Not really much of a loss - Shaun Rogers stops playing the second half of every season anyway. After game 9 or so, he just stands around and hopes the runner accidentally bumps into him..

neglogon [TotalFark] 2009-12-01 02:16:33 PM
I propose a fantasy coach swap... Mangina to ND and Weis to Cleveland.... Quinn would at least be happy.

Never thought I would ever see a management team worse than when the Lions with Matt Millen or the Raiders with Al Davis... until now.

I don't know about Coleman and Wimbley... but Pool might have had a concussion. If that's true, it's his 5th/6th, and that might be a concern.

You don't know Cleveland sports fans at all. At no point in the last 40 years have we been able to be enthusiastic about a Cleveland sports championship. Pretty much all success that our teams see is met with extremely guarded optimism. I mean, people in Cleveland pretty much expected to lose the ALCS in 2007, despite being up 3-1, then 3-2, etc...

Eh, even with that decimated D, Pittsburgh will still figure out a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory next Thursday night.

/Hope it doesn't happen

Rogers is used to being on a horrid team - as the Browns lured him away from my Lions.

Chargers get to play the Browns next Sunday...hopefully they're not looking past this game. Imagine how embarrassing it would be to lose to the Browns. Seriously.

Thank you. dobedobeDUE has no idea what it's like to be a Cleveland sports fan. Even if/when we actually DO win something, I won't believe it for a few years on the chance that some commissioner vacates the the title because we didn't file the proper paperwork or some such nonsense. It's Cleveland. Anything is possible.

The only thing the Browns are good at is finding new ways to be horrible.

Are you talking about the football team or the Seth MacFarlane cartoon?
