The only 'evidence' they have that he was going to rob the place at all was that he was in a ski mask and had a gun. So, in Barack Obama's America, being cold and exercising your constitutional rights at the same time is enough to make you a suspected felon. Keep that in mind next time you're late to the bank while reading a newspaper, citizen.

And a nice Boobies it is (they are?).

Whats the first rule of bank robbing. I must have skipped that class.

Theeng 2009-12-01 01:50:03 PM
Still better than the idiot robber who tried to crash into the front doors of the bank, only to get stopped by the line of concrete posts.

A bank near me has two rows of those things, I wonder what the point of that is when the Boobies is so effective.

They have some of those in the parking garage on campus so you don't drive through the stairwell and out the window. Ours, however, are just heavy and not attached to the floor, so I doubt the Boobies would be very effective.

5:36 pm? It should also be a crime to close a bank that early.

Serious, I mean, Bush would have at least hired the guy to torture people in Iraq.

Well, then he is just a burglar.

You're not making any sense. Turn off Rush Limbaugh and explain.

A credit union near my house is only open M-F 10 to 4. WTH?

All over the Internet, farkers are searching for the third rule of bank robbing.

Okay, read carefully: Have you ever been to Washington in December? It's cold.

Were you aware that there's a constitutional right to have a gun? Well, there is.

The two things cited for this guy being a bank robber were that he was wearing a ski mask (it's cold) and that he had a gun (which he could do because of the constitution). He should sue the bank for 'reporting' him for being cold while exercising his constitutional rights. That's like the cops telling Homeland Security that you might be a terrorist because of the newspaper you're reading.

Considering WI is cold this time of year and full of red necks this might be typical behavior.

I thought the first rule of bank robbing was 'don't talk about bank robbing'. Maybe that was fart club.

mikemc3 2009-12-01 02:07:45 PM
"He said the robber could have planned poorly or possibly had another reason, like getting tied up in traffic."

Here Friday and Saturday. Don't forgot to tip the waitress.

If I had to guess, we probably planned to rob it right around the time it was closing and was simply delayed for whatever reason.

It makes sense to rob a bank at closing time, less bystanders present who may attempt to play the hero by alerting the police or intervening directly.

The banks only care about rich people who have the luxury to stop by the bank at any time of the day. Not us 9-5ers with less than $100 in our checking account.

/i have a problem with any establishment that closes at 5pm.
//I love establishments that open at 5. :)

I belive it's:
A bank must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second law...

You are not allowed to bring a gun into a bank, moron. EVER. Try it sometime. Even if his intentions weren't clear, his actions were.

Really? I better call the cops and tell them I've spotted uniformed guards with guns IN BANKS.

You're right.. newspapers CAN kill 10-12 people within a minute, from a distance of many yards.

Don't be dense, you pedantic idiot. You know exactly what I mean. Banks are private institutions. You might be a security guard, but you probably aren't.

Random people who don't work at banks are not allowed to bring guns into them. But you already knew that. You're like Hamlet's farking grave digger, trying to win a debate by splitting semantic hairs.
