Yes, Subby, you're right--the misspelling of the word "goosing" in the headline does make it seem like a Fark headline!

What's a Mankato? Is that like Mangina or Manboobs or Manscape?

Jness [TotalFark] 2009-11-30 02:46:52 PM
I know I was pretty drunk all weekend... but I'm pretty sure I never strayed off the Range... nope, wasn't me. Whew.

poot42 2009-11-30 02:52:45 PM
Heh. Cooked goose breast on the weekend! Delicious!
Young wild Canadian goose. Fresh gound pepper, a little salt, 8 finely crushed juniper berries, wrap in bacon and bake at 425F for 25 minutes.
OUTstanding!

Icey_M 2009-11-30 02:55:54 PM
Not to be confused with Mt. Kato

Hey! That's North Mankato, over there to the west! It's totally different! Why, they don't even have one submarine base!

You could wrap a dog turd in bacon and cook it and it would taste the same way.

Anyone who has ever raised them will tell you; geese (and ducks) are nasty, vile creatures. They eat anything, shiat everywhere, and have a natural (pre-bacon) flavor of rancid chicken. That anyone would waste time hunting them while there are still pheasant is one of the world's great mysteries.

I'm for anything that thins the herd of these gutter birds [what moran decided a canada goose needed protection?? ]

but poachers are a lower form of life.

They never leave. Their intent I'm sure is to take over the US and run a terrorist state. Bastard geese.

Pheasant, wild duck ... all great treasures from Nature. You just need to learn how to cook them properly.

Hey, my hometown. Spring Lake Park is very nice, except for the copious amounts of goose shiat on the shores. At last, someone is doing something about it.

Please allow me to clarify. I don't eat the beggars that hang around and foul up the Lakeshore here. Hello no. The geese I get are brought down far north of here and are the migratory kind.
