That sounds more crackpot/misinformed than racist.

Not that I'm going to have any opportunity to advise hot celebrities on their looks, but from the pictures posted above, Miss Keys seems much hotter with her hair down rather than in dreads. As a counter example, I find Halle Berry to be significantly hotter with short hair than with long hair. Can't really explain it, but something about choosing a hairstyle to accentuate their features.

But of course, they are rich celebrities so they have gotta be doing something right.
