I knew it was going to be a long season for them after they blew a 19 point lead against my Timberwolves. It'd be nice if the Nets keep losing though, because I can't take Minnesota being the worst team in the league.

In a seven-game series, I'm taking New Jersey.

If Sacramento can avoid the California injury bug goin' around in the NBA, I think they can do 35 wins this year. shiat, I might finally get around to Arco Arena before the Maloofs move em out.

Tyreke Evans is damn good.

Not a problem. The current owner bought the team so he could get NYC to finance a new arena and office building complex for him in Brooklyn. How the team plays is an obvious after thought.

I knew it'd be a bad year for the Wolves, but I can't say I expected this. After the comeback against Jersey and the toughness and intensity they showed against Boston, I at least expected this team to be competitive. Now they're just rolling over after taking the first hit.

They can't shoot and have no one willing to step up. Jefferson is a but a shell of himself, Love is injured and Brewer is just... awkward.

They only consistent player we've got is Sessions, off the bench.

hrmm.. the article said the record is held by the Clippers and Heat. I could've sworn the Grizzlies broke that record while in Vancouver. Guess not. Go Nets! PERFECT SEASON BABY!

Lowly Kings, eh submitter? I mean, sure, they're not first, but...

They're the best of the teams getting outscored on average! Best team with a losing record!

Contrabulous Flabtraption: List

I like seeing the Suns up top like that. It won't last, but fleeting awesomeness is still awesome.

In other news, what the hell are the Jazz up to? They've played 15 games and I don't think I've heard a word about them. Are they just getting ignored this year?

In other other news, why aren't the damn Raptors better? On paper they seem like they should be better, esp. with Bargnani playing well...

In order to avoid tying the record, the Nets have to beat the Lakers. In LA.

Good luck with that.

Compared to last year, they're practically a playoff team.

I agree. I have a theory that the only reason that Lawrence Frank is still the coach is because the owner wishes for the New Jersey fans (whatever ones are left after what he did to the team) to not complain when their team is being sent to a city that has a basketball team already. I hope the Barclays arena is never opened, the NJ Nets get a new coach, move to Newark with the Devils at Prudential Center, and start winning with a reorganized team. Hopefully if that occurs, then the Nets can not only be sold to an owner who would take care of the New Jersey team (the owner of the Devils made an offer, the Nets owner refused still hanging onto his idea of an office park around his new arena), but bring "New Jersey" back onto the away jerseys!
