Sunday's game will be a nailbiter, and I wouldn't be surprised if the winner turns out to be the team that scores the last rouge.

/ but this is Saturday, so go Gaels

Screw that. Go Dinos.

As a Calgarian and a regular traveller to Grey Cup, I've been on hospitality duty for friends and family from all across the country this week, and it's already been a blast, as usual.

The best part of getting every attention whore from every CFL city across the country into a ballroom and plying them with booze is that, no matter which way you look, it's high comedy. I've had my picture taken with the Grey Cup, smooched with Klondike Kate, witnessed a stripped-to-the-gonch pipe band play and frolic in the snow during an impromptu parade the wrong way through rush hour traffic, and been saved from almost certain arrest by Wally Buono outside the Palamino.

It's been a solid 24 hours so far. It's always like a boozy halloween for adults.

Only 2 more drinking days to go before the big game. I don't know if 'old spotty' can take much more.

And speaking of watermelons, apparently Safeway diverted a special load to Calgary just for the game. As much as it breaks my heart as a Stamps fan...

Go Riders!

While Montreal has been absolutely dominant this year, they always find a way to choke in the big game. Given their last four years of Grey Cup failure and the surge of the Riders, I'd have to give the slight edge to Saskatchewan. But, its going to be one hell of a game.

Watch out for my Ti-Cats next year though. They're re-energized and ready to go on a tear.

If you have never been to MT, ND or SK - I'm not sure how to put it... but Corner Gas pretty much hit it on the head. Basically it would be a sign that reads:

'WELCOME! TO THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!
(but WE like it here...)'

If Hamilton's not in the Grey Cup Final I never watch it. So far I have never seen it.
