The most amazing part is the kid that throws a block and then poses towards the sideline while the play is still going on.

Genius.

it was a helluva block. nice sportsmanship our kids are learning, though.

Blocks ike that are easy when the other player runs straight at you blindly. The pose part is bush league - hopefully that kid got some payback.

I assumed this was the next clip on the highlight reel....Didn't care too much either for the post-TD "stand and look around pose" that a lot of NFL players seem to do more recently.

Well, when you could get fined thousands of dollars because the Refs feel like they need some attention instead of the player making the play...

LOL that was 100x better than the punt return. And by "better", I mean worse.

Same thing happened at the end of the Steelers-Chefs game last weekend too. In overtime Chris Chambers makes a long run after the catch and you see a Steeler flat on his back and someone(looks tightend sized) on the Chefs standing over him posturing as Chambers runs right by them. Chambers went ahead and setup the winning play, so I guess the guy did his job, but a little premature me thinks

Get the ball to Bo, and it's all over. His running speed in that game had to be a glitch.

Do you really feel the need to correct people's typos? What a turd.

In your post, 'Nazi' should be capitalized, you forgot the period at the end of "over hyped by subby," and 'overhyped' is one word.

Turd.

I'll go ahead and be your hype man here:

Yeah, they should have used parsecs.

Or they could both act like mature professionals but I'll be honest. I don't expect that to happen anytime soon.

I am whelmed.

Seriously, that play - very nice... in the NFL, when Chris Johnson runs it, we call it "second down".

And just because someone mentioned it: Bo kills an entire quarter on one play.

"Oh snap," would be appropriate in this situation.

Funny how the field appears to be a mere 20 yards wide. Or, if it is supposed to be 53 yards wide, then it must be a good 250 yards long. Which means Tecmo Bo rushed for a good 1000 yards on one play.

What I don't get about the NFL is why a lot of the defensemen have some celebration move they do anytime they get a routine tackle. Even if it's a sack, it's not like you just won the Super Bowl, you did your farking job. It's the whole "act like you've been there before" thing. Every time I see that, I think the guy has never successfully tackled anybody in his life, which makes me wonder how he got into the NFL.

It would be like in baseball if the catcher spiked the ball and pointed up to God every time he caught a pitch.

Jimmy Devil Rocket Science 2009-11-26 10:43:14 AM
I used to do this all the time on Tecmo Bowl.

No, because players don't make tackles on every play. More like every time a catcher catches a pop up. But I agree with you.

And man I miss Tecmo Bowl. I remember being blown away by the Super Bowl halftime show. I was 10.

Goodtimes...
