So... We've still got Hasselhoff, Tupac, Biggie, Snoop, Fiddy, Mathers, Springer, Flay, Goslin and...

Oh man, we're screwed...

Because you think I'm an arsehole. And I'm not, really. I'm just British and, well... you're not.

Don't forget Simon Cowell's best bud, Nigel Lythgoe too!

As much as I like Jezza Clarkson, I'll take James May as an import first.

FTFA: "One of the most popular fictional figures come film awards season is likely to be Malcolm Tucker, Peter Capaldi's poetically profane spin doctor from In the Loop. "

If you have not seen In the Loop, I cannot recommend this film more. Some of the funniest government incompetency ever put on film - its scary to think about which parts are real.

/Still looking for a way to get my hands on the series it's based off of.

Clarkson knows self-deprication, as does Ramsay (to an extent) whereas Cowell's underpants probably have solar panels inside them.

let's not forget Gladstone and Earl Haig and Baden-Powell

Simon Cowell, Jeremy Clarkson, and Gordon Ramsay deserve to die

Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, and Eddie Izzard are my favorite Englishmen,

Simon doesn't have the balls to go on stage doing standup in a dress.

Clarkson is about bombast and being right -- but he's improbably sweet. Ramsey is a hothead, but it edited to appear moreso to US audiences (just look how comparitively constructive and mentorlike his criticisms are to the UK chefs in his British-counterpart shows).

Am I the only one who is saying "who the fark are these people" and googling them to find out?

A talent show judge, a racing reporter and a cook. Big woo. Hail Britannia.

With the exception of Cowell, I watch the other two's shows religiously. They break the British sublte stereotype and tell it like it is.

That's probably for the best, though if all else fails you could fit a Richard Hammond in your luggage.

I dont know who the middle guy is, but the other two are two of the biggest jerk-offs I have ever seen, and if I see them on a channel - I immediately turn it.

You should, too.

Good choices. I only recently learned more about Fry. I knew him as the perfect Jeeves. Then I discovered full episodes of QI on the You Tube and his Podgrams. Now I am a big, big fan.

You may also want to check out A little bit of Fry and Laurie. Excellent variety show.

also cowell is the only one I see being smug swaggering and mean.. I see Clarkson as sweet but with a sharp humor and Ramsay is just very passionate and exacting. I have to agree he is a very different person on his BBC America shows than on HElls Kitchen.

Thick of it is great. Of course the series changed a lot in season 3 due to the actor playing the fictional minister being a convicted paedo and all. But it's still good.

I've just been watching the latest series of Ramsay's actually-about-food show "The F Word", and it consists mostly of him beaming and going "farking good job, lads" and "this dish you cooked is farking delicious". It's bewildering.

I lost interest in Gordon Ramsay when nobody in a kitchen ever picked up a knife and gutted him like a flounder.

Jeremy Clarkson's weekly auto reviews and commentary in the London Times are must-reads.

They're the best regular feature online anywhere.

Surely Britain must be capable of exporting something better back to the colonies. I mean, how hard can it be?
