Dear Congress:

Make a law requiring all robots have antlers. The escaped robot problem will be taken care of every hunting season.

PS: I am not a crank.

I watched this live, but I had the audio on super low. I must have missed it. That is perfect in a speech.

That robot they demonstrated didn't really do anything, though. I was kind of disappointed. I also think they could be putting a lot more money into this then they are - $260 million was the number, if I recall correctly - but I appreciate the initiative. Obama sounded like he truly understood how important science and math should be in this country.

In the future, I honestly don't want to see any killer robots that look like naked Arnold Schwarzeneggers. They look like they might get all rapey. And John Connor here knows it.

Just 'cause he knows how to breakdance, doesn't mean he can expect the rest of us to do it. That's going to give some kids an unfair advantage in college.

I am so glad he is doing this, Bush did nothing but push for music and art. Both a waste of resources.

Thisbymaster: I am so glad he is doing this, Bush did nothing but push for music and art. Both a waste of resources.

Music and art are okay, but I don't think he did nearly enough for that. All of his domestic initiatives pale in comparison to two huge fark-ups: NCLB and faith-based anything.

And I'm guessing he'd do them both again.

While I did not vote for Obama, I have to admit he's probably
the coolest president we've had since...oh...Kennedy.

Some of the things Obama does and advocates scare the crap outta
me, but I have to go with a big THIS on his education platform.

A law to help curb the litigiousness (sp?) of our country would
be a good thing too.
